Salam Aleikum, I came across your video - it‘s very engaging to watch with all these perspective shifts, camera angles and locations. JazakhAllah Khair
I love how your mic is so small yet practical! May I ask where you got it from ? Or the name of the mic? Beautiful video, it was fun to follow you throughout the different views !
i would call that jealousy. “hassad”. that’s also as bad as being arrogant. if you have “hassad” in your heart you’re basically saying, “ why did Allah give them that and didn’t give it to me”.
Could you tell me how to work on eliminating arrogance? I feel like it's embedded in me and I can't help it. as well i am stating that I am speaking I am better than someone else, i am just stating facts.
Being better than others isn’t the problem, it’s when we belittle them over things we have which they don’t that’s arrogance. Your question on how to eliminate it is an excellent question, and to be honest there is no one I can give a simple answer for that. I need to ponder on that myself and try to create a video on that topic inshAllah
One way that helps me to not feel arrogance and thinking i’m better than other people is thinking good of other people. I’ll give you examples- you’re at the masjid and had just finished praying zuhr. So you decide to pray sunnah 2 rakaah after zuhr prayer. You see the woman in front of you immediately leaving after zuhr prayer ends. Instead of thinking to yourself ‘i’m praying sunnah prayer so im better than her’ change your mindset to ‘maybe she has an emergency hence she needs to leave early’ or ‘she could be praying more sunnah prayers at home compared to me’. Another example, when you’re walking in the streets and saw an old man asking for money. You give him $5 and he thanks you for it. Then you saw a woman just passing that old man and not giving him any money. You could be saying to yourself ‘i’m better than her because i gave this old man money’. Instead of thinking like that, change your mindset to ‘maybe she is going through some financial problems i might not know about’ or even ‘that woman could be donating thousands monthly to a charity i don’t know about’. I pray that you benefit and whoever reads this benefit from it. May Allah remove arrogance from our hearts.
@@farouuuhi Mashallah that is a great perspective, but I am giving you some context here about when I feel most arrogant, Where I live I am surrounded by disbelievers, I am smart, good looking and have a good education and I work really hard, and the role that I am applying for I have all the skills, but time and time again I see discrimination happening against me, less qualified people are chosen for the position, they don't have 50% of my skills or experience and all this, because I am a hijabi Muslim and the hiring managers I assume, think I am backward or would not fit in their alcohol drinking and half naked girls in the office culture. This is when I start to look down upon people as I am frustrated with the discrimination against me.
@@farhatarique3418 well in that case, perhaps Allah is protecting you from working at such places. Let's say, Allah gives you a job at one of those places. It could be that they influence you into drinking and maybe you take your hijab off slowly. You are not the problem here sis. Allah knows that you deserve to work at a better place. You could be a million times better than the other hundreds of people that are applying for the same position as you, but if Allah doesn't will it, you will never get the position. And personally, everything really is about perspective and how you view things. Sometimes, things don't go our way because Allah has His own reasons. But always remind yourself that what Allah wills for us is what's best, even if we think it isn't. I apologise that my response has nothing to do with your question (which was about arrogance) but i hope it will help you view things from different perspectives.
Is it arrogance if i love my cooking and praise myself openly (but i don't compare mine with others) Astagfirullah may Allah forgive me for all the times I've been arrogant 😢
No that’s not arrogance, be proud of your cooking skills sis, that’s a gift from Allah and it’s your hard work. Arrogance is when you’re so proud of your strength that you think you can belittle others who cannot cook as good as you.
@@radwa.158 my loved once told me this to add "Mash'allah" and "alhumdulillah" before praising. I do it subconsciously and im trying to be more mindfull of it.
I’m genuinely curious, why wear eye make up, do the eyebrows? Why not leave them without which would be more modest? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of not tempting men? And you’re not the only one, so I’m not picking on you, I have seen many other muslim women doing this and the eyes can be seductive especially with make up on. Thank you in advance 🙏
Sister I have a question and like a solution that is arrogance in all things is awful but especially in the deen, why does this happen? Is it insecurity, why can’t we be people that want good for others and not feel threatened. Like I think Allah mentions in the Quran those people that after knowledge came to them and they were divided due to wanting to dominate. How do we overcome this and this insecurity and want good for others just as we want ourselves?
How we can overcome this is a question that requires a lot of in depth thinking 🤔 Thanks a lot for your question, it made me think I’ve mentioned the symptoms of arrogance in this video, maybe now I need to focus on the cure
Can I tell you ms with all due respect that it’s impermissible to display yourself on the internet even if you’re fully covered. You may as well have an audio recording and not fall into the trap of the shaytan. You’re free to check the fiqhi rulings yourself

5:19 5:20 this 5:29 from Allah it is so one should be arrogant
How about when ppl who are not good at something, unnecessarily humiliate ppl who are doing something good.
If someone isn’t even good at something they are supposed to be in a position of humility, instead if they are arrogant then that’s worse

If you are better at a subject than your classmates for example, it's simply the truth so why is it arrogance to acknowledge it?
