No objective No home to return to The world sees you as a demon What is a hero to do in an environment as unforgiving For a prelude of the demon king has just begun
First time I listened to this (in the Prehistory chapter) I thought I was about to play a masterpiece of game. And my thoughts weren't wrong. It turned into one my favorite games in life.
Man, Oersted really got royally screwed over. Tricked into becoming a kingslayer, betrayed by his best friend, and forsaken by the love of his life, who committed suicide just to spite him. I know Akira told Oersted that his fall to darkness was ultimately Oersted's own choice, but with how Oersted's life got fucked up, it'd be kinda impossible for him not to go insane.
@@Doors067he would have become as bitter as Hashe, if not more so. In the end he was proven completely right and Uranus was wrong. Unlike Hashe i do not see him rising back to help the new generation.
@@Doors067 And what happens when someone investigates that home to find the so called "Lord of Dark" living there? There's no way he'd be able to live anywhere familiar. He'd have to leave Lucrece entirely. And even then beyond the question of where he would go, there is no guarantee that his supposed sins wouldn't follow him. The same way they follow Sundown through the Wild West. Except, I doubt Sundown killed the US President. Oersted didn't need to become a monster despite how strong the temptation and his bitterness was, but there would likely be no "chilling" for the rest of his life.
She waits. She hopes that help is coming still. By love and trust and faith will we be saved. A single soul's enough, when 'gainst the world we stand. Apart. Alone. Believe in me, we plead. We pray. And answer they... ...I will.
@@SeventhheavenDK He wasn't weak-willed and was heavily apologetic at the end of it all. The man was beyond tested, and lost his mind. I think its really hard to just hate the dude. He was a good man once.
Thank you for the message and warning. I remember that someone named "Amberleen the Light Eevee" used to create and post mashup together with the original for this game. She told that she did not have the game and thus were unable to use gameplay video for it. Can't blame her, it sounded really good. But law is law.
When all but one of the Master's disciples are murdered for him standing up to Ou Di Wan Lee. :( It's when I first felt the crushing sorrow of this song. It felt a little too dramatic for Pogo in spite of his circumstances, but in the Imperial China scenario...! As much as I liked them all, I am kinda glad Yun Jou was my Master's successor. The trope of the martial arts instilling bravery and righteous strength in the cowardly and weak, granting them the power to uphold their virtue, resonates with me. I still think that thus far, that scenario is my favorite one as I chip away at the game. Of course, I've yet to make it to the Medieval scenario, and I'm trying to spoil as little of Oersted's misery and fall from grace as possible. But I feel like I'm going to connect a little too well with his suffering when I do.
People: those parents should have listened to the child who believed in oersted. Me: if somebody accused of murder steps into my home im gonna react the same exact way
thanks for the message. I got two copyright strikes from toei and some other big company from japan. then youtube took whatever advantage i can do to my video. I cant pin comments and i cant provide links in description. it seems japan is the one careful about going public. o well...i played the game and didnt get the chance to hear the music again after uninstalling it. thanks again.
No objective
No home to return to
The world sees you as a demon
What is a hero to do in an environment as unforgiving
For a prelude of the demon king has just begun
Treat a man like the demon king and so a demon king he shall be.
I guess the best moment with this OST is in Far Future chapter, when the soldier explains why he hates machines

Same here. I just beat the Middle Ages and am gonna do the final chapter tomorrow.

He literally could have just moved up to hasshes old home and chilled

Granted, there’s no way Akira could’ve known that.
@@phoenixdouchebag904 yeah but hashe didn't go killing the villagers and even had a slight redemption arc

Yes, he did many wrongs. He was weak willed, becoming evil is the easy path.
@@SeventhheavenDKeasy for you to say, he was completely destroyed and lost everything, he was a hero until they all turned on him.
@@macmccloud8171 . It's not easy, but it's your choice. Don't blame anyone else for your lack of will and resilience.

“There will be a reckoning.”
My favorite emotional song move over Aerith’s theme, Unfulfilled from Three houses, Hamel Village,& unwavering emotions from Pokémon BW
This Music actually makes me real sad... 😢
Shimomura can do that to people!
I can feel the sad story from the melody of this song.Nice song.
The only words that I can use to describe Oersted's shitfest of a circumstance is "royally fucked". He deserves better than a "friend" like Straybow.
The more I think in the middle age chapter the more lectures I can get from the story.
Me too: bros before hos

And then, the day it's my turn being falsely accused, there is no one left to defend me
