Genshin is basically a phone killer 💀
It’s a pc game and open world translating that to mobile it’s not gonna be a good transfer
Not if your phone isnt overpriced/overrated crap like iphone/samsung ect
Nothing excuse these prices for what they do and we have far better choice for cheaper thats why flagships are not good for gaming
This iphone 14 pro is even better than the basic iphone 14 yet it still cant even run genshin at max for 5 min without heating up
A old gaming phone completely shit on these new flagships and that understating
At the same time it isn't I guess, Like Lower the settings and it works go for hours

Use the low power mode and see the Magic, you don’t need the P-Cores of the A16 because it’s an Exaggeration, so using Low Power Mode you make things more Balanced, that’s Exactly what I do in the A15 Bionic and it was a Recommendation from a Review channel.
IOS low power mode is really good 👌🏻
Thanks for the tip. I was worried because of my phone overheating and battery going low way to fast while playing. With low power mode theres no more overheat and I can play for an hour by just using 10~15%
Now the 15 pro max I think that’s go be a real upgrade

just curious if there are any others experiencing lags/frame drops while gaming on the new iphone14 pro. im not entirely sure whether this is due to the new ios16 or just the new phone itself, but i have experienced multiple frame drops when playing games and this seems to be an issue for some others too
Genshin was the only one with frame drops
Everything else is working so smoothly 👌🏻
There should be a game mode setting to switch on/off high performance mode. When I had the 13 pro, I believe I had to have high performance off to keep it more balanced because high-performance mode made it dim too quickly then the frames would definitely drop.
Lol Wild rift is also having framerate issues

I'm getting a 14 Pro in a few days to replace my 8. I'm interested to see how it performs running Minecraft since my 8 drained really fast when playing. I'm guessing it won't be as intense as Genshin Impact, but it'll still be a good test to the battery.

Shame iPhone A16 still experiences thermal throttling - what's the point of having higher benchmark scores when it can't sustain it for more than 30 minutes - thought they would fix it by making the A16 'more efficient'.
To answer your question "if the iPhone can't run it then what out there can?"
Check out phones coming out with the Dimensity 9000+ or phones coming out with the Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1. ASUS Rog Phone 6D and ASUS Zenfone 9. They don't throttle and can run in 60 fps.
A16 is a new chipset. Wait for few months for the game devs to optimize their games to the said chipset.

Who told you that it cannot sustain it? Yes it gets hot, yes it dims but the performance generally stays the same for a long time. Definitely for a longer time than A15. It is complete beast of a chip and it also goes higher on the wattage a lil bit.

@@davout5775 I’m using it right now, I went from the S22 to the iPhone 14 Pro for its battery life. Expected more from the A16 tbh, i ran Genshin for less than 10 minutes in the areas outside the starter area that most reviewers show and fps stutters to lower than 50 fps, it can’t sustain 60. And I’ve noticed multiple reviewers have the screen dim outdoors from thermal throttling, so I’m assuming the two go together, they still have no form of cooling to sustain heat.
You can say that we are waiting for optimising but they said the same thing about the iPhone 12 when I had it and it was never fixed for it.
Tbh I can’t complain much more than that there are no issues with normal usage performance. iPhone is insanely good for normal use, no lags whatsoever launching and moving between apps. Can’t say the same for any phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen1, and I chose the A16 over the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 so I can’t comment on the normal usage with those phones except from reviewers commenting that it’s smooth and that the gaming performance is insane.
Curious about running the same test not using Geshin Impact since it appears to be terribly optimized. Thanks for the video.

it's not terribly optimized when a Pc quality game can run on budget mobiles, I think Nobody should play on the highest graphics since it's a Crysis for mobile

i play genshin on low graphics and 60fps and it took 1h 40 mins to drain my battery from 80% to 30%….. it’s crazy but i would recommend a good phone case with great ventilation :) and also…sit right in front of a fan or play it in a colder room because the battery life on 14 pro is disappointingly bad

I just hoped you realized that any phone without an outside cooler will heat up so much when playing in an overclocked genshin setting. the game warned you literally so you should not wonder. Only people not in the right mind will use overclocked settings genshin at all times.

it will reduce the battery consumption and heatings if you use earphones
Iphones get way too hot when gaming. My samsung s22 ultra and previous models never get that hot and never dom the screen.

I do not believe you, samsung perform like crap and they are miles away from even A14 not to mention A16 (any silicon processor ) Even if they do not dim display this only means they eliminate device faster, 13Pro did go easily 1 year with 100% battery capacity

I tried other phones next to it, but no, they all look the same

In the past lowest graphic is 90 fps but pubg did a update of fps so you can play on 120fps lowest graphic on the iPhone 14 pro

Just put it off the charger cuz it’s getting too hot
P.S. the only thing it does when it really overheats is dim the screen and if it got way out of hand, it would turn off
But performance stays smooth all the time 👌🏻
@@AmmarAjjoub Ah, I see, my main gripe with this new Gen Iphones (I currently have the standard 12) is that it overheats really quick like a few minutes in, sometimes turning down graphics option doesnt help, so really, I cant be playing for more than 15 minutes without it heating up, I sometimes have to sit in front of a fan to keep it cool but it doesnt work everytime :(
My main question would be what's the most optimal way to play on the ip14 pro without resorting to some aftermarket cooling fans, like I just wanna be able to play anywhere without it worrying of overheating after a while.

Also, modern games are total CRAP, Im only turn on my PC to play old FIFA and COD is available anytime on my phone and believe me it is the same as playing on XBOX series S on 1440p
