Ok, that's the one I used to be able to call in from about a quarter mile by responding to his, what I call "whistle". They were common across our county here in Oregon, but the 5 year span of extreme wildfires may have changed that. He was delightful company when I worked in the woods by myself. Best call period seemed to be in the early fall season.
