- In this video the experimental results for 4n pi system has been explained on the basis of FMO approach.Ring closure and ring opening reactions of 4n pi systems has been discussed.This video also tells that the stereochemistry of the product depends upon the mode of activation i.e.reaction is thermally or photochemically allowed.

HOMO is considered for FMO approach in electro cyclic reactions only.. In cycloaddition we considered HOMO n LUMO both.. All the stereochemistry has been discussed.. Go through the playlist of pericyclic reactions
