I waited to get a silencer until eforms. Have a JP silent capture on my 10.5 SBR, it’s nice and makes things buttery smooth. But also using a rifle speed adjustable gas block and a Helios QD TI, so, low blow back and light!
No effect. All SCS does is make it slightly less annoying to change buffer weight and eliminate sproing. If you want to change cyclic rate get a Riflespeed gas block.
So here’s a question: In regards to zeroing and carbon lock, what is a good recommendation if you are going to use a dedicated suppressor on a specific gun? It is my belief that shooting suppressed and unsuppressed will just make me have to rezero my gun all the time. I have a surefire rc2 on a m4 and a sandman k on a ak74. I’m other words, is it even a concern to worry about my suppressors getting carbon locked?
It'll still be a concern, but much less often, because remember that you'll want to clean the inside of that can every so often, which means being able to get it off the gun.
I love JK! I have a form 1 JK can, when they switched their business to selling suppressors, I hit them up for clipping services, they clipped my baffles and got it back fast! They are awesome
I really wanna get a can but even with silencer shop kiosks the NFA process still seems really intimidating. Thinking about a B&T rotex V because it mounts on milspec A2 flash hiders.
Go for it! Watch a couple RUclips videos on the silencer shop kiosks and visit your local gun shop. I felt the same way until about a month ago and gave it a try. Very simple process once you do it once
Silencer process is super simple with Kiosk. Then the store can order your suppressor. Compared to my SBR where I had to go get the finger prints to mail in after the online e-file. Suppressor was easy
Completely depends on your individual rifle/suppressor. Definitely test different weights with different ammo, suppressed and unsuppressed (if you need it to run both), and maybe even look at something like a BRT EZTune gas tube after that if it’s still too gassy.
Been looking for a muzzle devices/suppressor combo here in the UK but there is nothing decent here. Importing direct from the USA is not an option either 😭

Check cashed on the Saker paper form 4 1/26 and Octane 9 check cashed 5/6 through Silencershop kiosk. Still waiting to take home what I own. Takes deep breath in through the nose and out the mouth😂
The intro and logo are dope, dude.
get urself a cgs group can. best cans ever. 1 piece titanium or Inconel 3d printed and very modular and 556 cans literally no flash and not a lot of gas in the face depending how ur blaster is set up. awesome vid as always man.
Thanks for sharing! I'm getting closer to purchase. Trying to keep this step below the $1,000 threshold total out of pocket. I figure it a have to take my upper to a gunsmith or i unintentionally screw up my upper than i loose.
just spend the extra money buddy. you will be glad you did. save longer if needed. its the right move considering wait times
I've been running a G36k with a nomad k .30 cal so I could also use it on my hmr, but with the 36k I've noticed it's been running fairly quiet but it mostly hides the flash much better than other guns I've used it with and that's with the 4 prong keymo, but I also use .223 instead of 5.56 when suppressed just because I'm waiting on a recoil spring from hk
MOJO, if you where to buy nvgs(Being an American that can still have them, but not trying to get deported by the wife because I sold the house to get them) what would your recommendation be? Thanks for this video, I’m actually about to get a .30 Cal can for the 6.5 CM, but also wanna run it on 5.56.... Thanks
My Surefire RC2 556 is 92 days and counting. It's so painful.
120 days was my wait time so you are almost there. 🤙🏽
I’m at day 118 since my eform was submitted to the ATF. Still waiting….
Still waiting on my mini 2. 13 months and counting. I put in the paperwork before they started the eform. My form one efile only took 15 days!
So that griffin suppressor mount is basically the same as the Saker ASR
Perks of having a channel seems that one can edit out their can prying vs leaving the guest to pry theirs off while the camera rolls lol
13:24 vs 16:00 for instance
Hi my name is Bill I have a DDM4A1 pinned and welded to make a 16 inch plus A.R. 15 is there any that you know of suppressor that will fit the extended muzzle device that Daniel defense uses. I was thinking the Halo by Jim Tech if you have any advice please let me know thank you Bill
I purchased a griffin recce 5 mod 4 almost 14 months ago and still haven't gotten it lol. Since then, I eformed a surefire 300 sps which is supposed to work well on 556 also. But man, is that a long and heavy can.
Do you fire any type of ammo using your cans?
Solid video thank you for the info keep up the great work and stay safe
I waited to get a silencer until eforms.
I have a massive problem with buying something and not taking possession of it for however long it takes the government to decide when I can take physical control of the item I have already paid for.
Well, let me tell you, big mistake!!
Un-fucking-believable how inept these bureaucratic departments can be.
1st, these clowns come out and say, 90 day wait time. They can't even come close to that. I'm currently at 175 days and counting!!
What takes your LGS 5 minutes, takes the federal government 10 months.
I will NOT buy another one until the unconstitutional NFA is repealed.
Love the video but I would like to suggest some dead cats for your mics if you don't have any.
Mojo is my spirit animal
So I noticed you said it’s the gun you bring to work? Did your department back track on the jab requirement and you are back to work now?
Me: *watches this video to avoid making gun impulse buy
Mojo: you guys out there trying to justify your purchases... btw you don't have to. This is America.
.
.
Me: *sighs into poverty.
Mojo with a mustache looks like if bobby lee was an operator
Back of my shins.... i died lmao
I live in Seattle too.. where is good place for out door shooting… Im waiting for my suppressor tax stamp but I feel like it’s pointless to shot with a suppressor at a indoor shooting range.. anyone know where ? Thank you
MOJO what holster and you running?
So would you recommend Silent Captured Spring system to run suppressed? just wondering if it would really help the rifle cycle better.
So here’s a question:
In regards to zeroing and carbon lock, what is a good recommendation if you are going to use a dedicated suppressor on a specific gun? It is my belief that shooting suppressed and unsuppressed will just make me have to rezero my gun all the time. I have a surefire rc2 on a m4 and a sandman k on a ak74.
I’m other words, is it even a concern to worry about my suppressors getting carbon locked?
It'll still be a concern, but much less often, because remember that you'll want to clean the inside of that can every so often, which means being able to get it off the gun.
Work gun? What have you transitioned into? Great video by the way, thank you.
I love JK! I have a form 1 JK can, when they switched their business to selling suppressors, I hit them up for clipping services, they clipped my baffles and got it back fast! They are awesome
Have you tried copper anti-seize?
This is the video I've been waiting for🤌🏼 excellent job guys.
Also I've been running a sandman k for a while now and I have no issue with carbon lock at all. It's pretty impressive.
Do the Eli drill!
Waiting for somebody to make an edited gif of Mojo going Super Saiyan @5:05
That griffin dual lok literally just came out last week. Retailers haven’t received them yet. How on earth did you get one already?
They do post him on their IG some. So I figure he may be one of the people testing it out for them.
Would love to see a review on that dual lock can
Will it fit a DD a2 style birdcage
Was your buddy running that sar 9mm for 279 a 1000 mine was shit just wondering
From who
Mojo I just got back from Wyoming and taking Carbine classes where were you?
so a h3 or h4 buffer would be a good recommendation for running suppressed?
Completely depends on your individual rifle/suppressor. Definitely test different weights with different ammo, suppressed and unsuppressed (if you need it to run both), and maybe even look at something like a BRT EZTune gas tube after that if it’s still too gassy.
😂 I just ordered my Hercules bag. Looking forward to using it for travel as well.
i got their bandit about a month ago and its awesome. its the perfect size bag to take everything i need for work
Been looking for a muzzle devices/suppressor combo here in the UK but there is nothing decent here. Importing direct from the USA is not an option either 😭
Deffo not with rimfire I don’t think mate although Im a big fan of direct thread anyway over qd mods.
I might be wrong, but I think Trump relaxed the export laws for commercial suppressor sales. No idea what the UK import laws are, though.
