    You get the wobble naturally by having the oscillators detuned form each other, use the fine tune and mess around until u find a walue that resembles the different “rate wobble” when u play different notes.

      Yeah exactly. Don't need an LFO modulating the Amp. But per note amp mod would give you a bit more control as would going the LFO route I guess. Might be a bit more predictable as well if you need that. But yeah this bass is fairly straight forward. Basses like this just fall out of my Sub37 and Grandmother naturally with ease. And you can probably make a bass like this with just about anything I suppose. Still a good tutorial though. Good overview. Cheers.

      ...also I just noticed he uses one oscillator but unison. Not sure how Serum handles that sort of thing with regards to that natural detune you would get with two oscillators beating against each other so going this route might actually need an lfo mod amp.

    very likely the lfo rate is being automated by the note

      @@jeremyformerlyknownastoken8218 if you look to the right of the lfo box in serum, there is a velocity and note box. select note, and drag it onto the rate of the oscillator just like you would drag an lfo onto a knob. In my head unlinking the rate from the project bpm should yield a better result but I haven't tried yet. adjust the curve in the note box for different results

    • @DorinBriciu
      @DorinBriciu 6 месяцев назад

      @@jeremyformerlyknownastoken8218 u can assign the note parameter next to velocity on serum to modulate pretty much anything. However whats causing the lfo rate to change is the detune caused by having a different fine tune on an oscillator. Hope this helps🫶

      @@jeremyformerlyknownastoken8218on on the right above voiceinf you can drag the "note" onto the lfo speed

    • @maffickmusic
      @maffickmusic 5 месяцев назад +2

      You don't automate anything to get the wobble. Have 2 oscillators, both with a unison of one, both with a saw wave, and fine tune the second saw wave up with like 15 ~ 45 on the fine tune. These different speeds create the varying wobble

    isn't the wobble rate coming from resampling the bass and then playing it on different notes wobbles it with different rate?
