Like 20 odd years ago when I was a child I would go to a skatepark and just ride around, I would only go early mornings when the park was empty so I had the freedom of doing whatever, then when the park started getting crowded we left. Parents need to follow this structure for their kids now, not just allow them to freely ride around unsupervised putting not only their child in danger but everyone else at the park as well. Blame the kids for not having general awareness and understanding what a skatepark is actually for, but also blame the parents for even thinking that letting their kids be at a crowded skatepark is a good idea, its a SKATE park not a playground.

I feel like you cant expect to much from younger kids, they just don't have the awareness. The best thing to do is just communicate and let everyone know how a skatepark works, where people are going, the lines, and where your going.
I remember being like 11-12 when the skatepark was first built and all the big kids in the 90s werent exactly bullies but for the first like 3 years all I did was practice varial flips in the corner. lol always thought it was ironic because my mom would send me there or take me there and leave me there thinking it was for kids. entirely lol.
at least that 1 kid said sorry when he realised he was where you were tricking, the other really need to realise its on them and apologise for snaking and being in the way.

Problem in my town is theres even more than this amount of kids under 10 AND all their parents stay and watch them, so you literally cant even tell them to move or anything unless you want 20 parents coming up and freaking out at you. Its not what it used to be thats for sure, Its by far worse than its ever been, when I was a teen there would be maybe 1 or 2 kids under 10 being annoying and snaking, now its 20 at any given time with a cheer leading section of parents sitting on ledges and ramps, some parents even follow their kid beside them stabilizing their kid or whatever. Kids that young should be in their driveways, thats where you learn, not in the actual skatepark.

it annoys me when kids go to the skatepark especially when they r on there lil scooters that aren’t even meant for a skate park i skateboard now but i use to go when i was like 14 i didn’t ride anything id go to hang out with my friends who would skate but u would never catch me getting in the way of either sit on the bleachers stand on the sides which was jsut plain concrete just so people could walk around or i’d sit at the top of the bowl cause no one would use it people have to keep there kids out of the skatepark unless they’re parents r there teaching them or 2 go to skate camp which is something that my city has for the kids at our skatepark
Personally, i get so angry over this like.. Im a inline skater and at my local skatepark so many little kids come here, and sometimes just almost bump into me when i try to go up like a ramp or do like a jump,its sucks!
