"If you were transported back in time to a medieval battle, what would be your weapon of choice?" A flag of peace, featuring people of all races, colours and creeds, holding hands beneath a rainbow.... on which I would impale my foes.
I was looking for another projects of Marco H. was taking part and I found this document. and I totally fall in love with Ayreon. Next day I bought this album and in next few days the rest. I could'n stop listenig it. Arjen is the biggest genious in the world of music.

You're right Arjen, I LOVE SARA'S VOICE IN THIS ALBUM!!! Well, I have to admit that my favourite singer in The Theory of Everything is JB, but she's just amazing.
Just learned of these guys today ! EPIC ! Love Therion. Aryeon came on after Theriom, and 5 hours later, im still being blown away. New fan for life !!!!
Certainly my favorite when I'm not listening to Ayreon (when I am, it's whichever I'm listening to, they're all fantastic). I just love the cast (and Physics) so this often plays in my mind on its own. I've listened to this just a bit more than the others. Really what a great catalog!!!
The last seconds of the album give me the chills. I wonder what he comes up with next, there are so many possibilities to continue after such an eerie ending.
Still my favourite Ayreon album, and my favourite album to come out since my birth (late 1995). My 2nd favourite album of all time. I hope Arjen, or someone else, will once again try to make a modern "classical symphony" with a full band, synth, lead singers etc. like this album split into 4 acts with recurring themes and choruses rather than a bunch of verse-chorus songs. Nothing hits as beautifully as The Lighthouse + Argument 2 + The Parting, Fluctuations + Transformation, Uncertainty Principle + Dark Energy + Theory Theme 3 or Potential + Quantum Chaos etc.
+Gabriela Lemes Sure? Mike Mills? Even better than Marco's voice? And what about female singers? Mike Mills is great, and his vocal range is almost unique, but I dont think he's the one who transmits more feelings, or the singer with more vocal technique.
+Amthrel ljubljana No, he is not the only person that is showing his best. Marco, for instance, is much better here than in years with Nightwish, which works is boring me. But Mike has one of my favorite roles in this album as the father, just like JB, as the teacher. I'm not belittling the work of other singers, only highlighting my favorites on this album :)
Also Brett Caldas-Lima (the mastermind of Kalisia) did the mastering for The Theory Of Everything (Arjen spoke about it in the beginning). And Arjen did some guest vocals on Cybion ;)
Agree with him on choruses, no hate for those who like catchy chorus' but for my taste it's better with different themes that may be used again(as in 2112) as a binding concept not just 8 bars of catchy melodies everyone is waiting for.

"Do not listen to four epics in a row" Sorry, Arjen. I did it. Now, I haunt my family's house and use my laptop to communicate.
Ben Michalowicz at least you didn't die :P
Now I know why I constantly feel dead inside! :'D
So this is how 'Frame came to be
See, this is why I love Ayreon, It's so easy to fall in love with music made by a guy who clearly enjoys what he does. It's infectious.

You're right Arjen, I LOVE SARA'S VOICE IN THIS ALBUM!!!
Well, I have to admit that my favourite singer in The Theory of Everything is JB, but she's just amazing.
Not ashamed at all Sara, or disappointed... beautiful voice!
Michael Mills is one of the greatest vocalists I have ever heard! Amazing
This album has my all time favorite Ayreon tune, and it's full of genius ideas musically speaking.

Still my favourite Ayreon album, and my favourite album to come out since my birth (late 1995). My 2nd favourite album of all time.

That feeling when you realize that in Dutch is the same expression for "flail" and "good day"... :D
JB and Mike Mills are fucking amazing here, my favorite roles of TOE.
+Gabriela Lemes

Maravilhoso álbum!!!!! Sem palavras...
If you like this form of sung story, check out Cybion by Kalisia. Similar music genre as well
Also Brett Caldas-Lima (the mastermind of Kalisia) did the mastering for The Theory Of Everything (Arjen spoke about it in the beginning). And Arjen did some guest vocals on Cybion ;)
I always listen to all parts. Why stop after side A and B ?:P
Agree with him on choruses, no hate for those who like catchy chorus' but for my taste it's better with different themes that may be used again(as in 2112) as a binding concept not just 8 bars of catchy melodies everyone is waiting for.
