4:00 DNA Sugery turn opponent monsters into Dragon -> Superpoly -> BEEG DRAGON JUMPSCARE My only memory of Five-Headed Dragon is when (15+ years ago) a primary schoolmate my friend group was watching summoned it and attacked directly, only to die to Magic Cylinder. Good times when battle traps were still useful...
There needs to be another retrain of Five-Headed Dragon that's actually viable and worth using. Something like this: Requires 5 Dragons as Fusion Material. Cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects except by Light or Divine monsters. Cannot be tributed or used as extra deck monster material. If your opponent activates a card or effect that targets a card you control (quick effect), you can banish a dragon type monster from your GY, negate the activation, and if you do destroy it. You can only use this effect once per a turn.
I would love for Konami to make an archtype based on FHD Kinda like BLS that it gains effects based on the monsters used for the summon and have a way for them to search dragon's mirror
My favorite thing about five headed link dragon is that it's possible a reference to the anime where it was a ritual monster (blue border) and also required a monster of each attribute expect light nightnare penguin was a wind just for this. It even had the destroy all effect so it's a neat reference
Five Headed Dragon was a powerful but easy to beat boss monster in the anime. It was used by the Big Five & was defeated by Yugi & Kaiba's Dragon Master Knight fusion monster and later Yugi & Joey's Mirage Knight. In the GX generation Jaden faced a Duelist who used Five Headed Dragon & defeated him as well.
When tbis card was first revealed in the anime, i remember making fan art of this but w/ 5 different dragon heads. Blue eyes, red eyes, thousand dragon, curse of dragon, & harpie's pet dragon
3:59 MBT fan? 😏👍🏾 Anyways, I find it funny that every time we saw Five Headed Dragon in the anime, it was ALWAYS by The Big Five and in both instances, happening within the virtual world. XD
i like to use the 5 headed link dragon in my crystal beast deck. since it's uneffected by everything i can use my rainbow dragon effect to shuffle everything back into the deck and he just stays there with my five crystal beasts i summoned back. just a awesome card
I actually use both forms of five headed in my Dragon Maid deck. Also I adore it personally not just from the anime but I’m absolutely a Tiamat fanboy.
i also use this card along with future fusion and dragon's mirror in my edison deck, funny enough in GX season 4 the same combo is used as a super classic and we get to see 2 being used only just for a moment
I'd use an all dragon deck, link verte anaconda turn 1, and fusion summon using multiple special summoned dragon type monsters. Still works in blue eyes deck too, given that you can have blue eyes monsters with a negate effect.
I built a deck around that one. There are ways to get him out without needing all of the dragons on the field then fusing them. And ways you can protect him.
I have it in my Blue-Eyes deck in DL as a backup option, and just for fun if I draw a Dragon's Mirror and I'm certain my opponent can't do anything to stop me. Even with the AI, it's good for getting a higher dueling score. Plus, it's an awesome monster. So there's that.
If you ever play 5 headed dragon, immediately play lord of D to make it immune to spell effects and use a metalmorph on said lord of D to make it harder to destroy, along with other traps to keep it alive for as long as possible
Actually there is a gimmicky way to summon the Link monster and destroy your opponent's field. I discovered it thanks to Dark Doriado. Normal or Special Summon her, effect to put 4 monsters of the 4 attributes on top (in this case, 4 level 3 or lower normal monsters) then activate Enchanting Fittin' Room and summon all of them the go to the Link 5 and blow up your opponent.
I absolutely LOVE this card!! Five-Headed Dragon will always be the original Final Boss Monster in my book! 😁 Personally, I always preferred the name "Mythic Dragon", as that was Five-Headed Dragon's name in both of the Virtual World Arcs of the Classic Series; sometimes I'll even call it "Mythic 5-Headed Dragon" or "5-Headed Mythic Dragon" just to make the reference 😅
I prefer the german name it had, Fünf Götter Drache, basically translating to something like Five Divine Dragon or Five God Dragon, but I like to think it would mean Five Headed Divine Dragon, which just sounds badass.
yeah, every time I see a pop of a nonhuman critter like pokemon or a duel monster I think that looks ok as a figure? still don't like them quite enough to actually buy one.
Just destroy it by card effect with thunder dragon titan while playing thunder dragon by pitching a thunder dragon monster from hand and chaining card effect? Am i wrong?
It's a shame Five Headed Dragon never battled an Egyptian God monster.

Cyberdarks sometimes run this as an equip card for Cyberdarkness Dragon for the extra 1000 attack points over Cyber End Dragon.

I can't believe I've never seen any of your videos up until yesterday. All of them are informative, short and sweet!

Will forever call it Five God Dragon

Let the dragon be a good guy 🙏
Five headed dragon did actually appear in the not dubbed season of gx and was used by Mr.T aka trueman
@@thegreatscribbles960 That's true! 😅 Totally forgot about that! (And I guess others might have)

I used to frequently summon this w/lord of D., 2 flutes of summining dragon, & 1 dna surgery

I miss playing Chaos Dragons back in the day.

My favorite target to summon Alba Zoa XD

I keep a copy in my Dragonmaid deck on Master Duel just in case I need to stomp over a Chaos MAX or I wanna style on my opponent.
Can you revive the five headed link dragon using red eyes darkness metal dragon's effect?
chimeriatech overdragon: only 5 heads? noob
....To be fair, þat's german technology at work. And its a machine monster.
@@johndexterzarate6663 but it has dragon in its name XD

There is also a linked card version of FHD.
In the virtual arc in the OG anime, FHD was actually a ritual monster....Joey and Yugi dueled them against the big 5.
