I love Bruce, and I know this clip is not the whole show, but it looks and sounds old. Nobody beats Father Time. I wonder if he even breaks a sweat anymore. Nostalgic for sure. High quality musical performance, probably not.
Every one of us fans best be enjoying this nostalgia because none of us know how long we’ll continue to have The Boss to entertain us (or be around ourselves). I’m slightly younger than Bruce and the band members are, and I know I couldn’t (physically) begin to do what they’re doing. The fact that he is touring again is a gift to us all! The man is an icon for a reason, and I personally don’t care if he’s not jumping around the stage as much as he used to or if his voice is not quite as strong on some songs as it used to be. My husband and I are going to our first live show next month and I’m happy to say “Better late than never” while I still have time. From what I’ve seen I think he and the band are doing a great job so far!
