Your parking sensors will be an issue for you, not to sure what you will do. I got the Towbar off eBay and the ball is removable which is handy. It was a good price and good quality. Thanks for the comment.
bobs vidz are you on caddy2k.com? lot of irish lads on it loads of how to posts etc very handy stuff, what is the load rating of the hitch? most fixed hitches I see are around 1650kgs. there is a genuine bypass but its mad money but think a il just have to get over the beeping when towing:-)
I'm thinking about putting bar work on my caddy. I've got tall tyres on it 195/80r16. They fit with no lift. I need a levelling kit to l I'm thinking about putting a xrox bar up front and an xrox rear bumper. I want to turn it into a four wheel drive. I'll find parts for the rear
Thanks for the comment Timothy. I think the tow bar rating is1650 kg. no I am not on caddy2k I am considering joining though thanks for that. The wiring video will be up tomorrow weather and work depending. The caddy genuine bypass was more than the tow bar cost me. This is why the wiring video is taking so long I am using a generic bypass to show it can by done. I am also doing it as easy for the guy like me at home not in a big fancy garage with all the knowledge and tools if that makes sense. I was thinking if u found the live feed u could put your parking sensors on a switch and turn them of while towing. Hope this helps thanks again for the comment and watching the vidz.

+Simon Hills the make of mine is umbra rimorchi it was free post to uk of eBay. I found it easy to fit and is working perfectly I am getting a 2016 caddy is why it's coming of. I pull a 16 foot car transporter and no hassles. With my wiring video as well I think it's a job that any one with a bit of knowledge and hands on can do thanks for the comment.

How does the bumper connect to the crash bar? I know it slots onto the mounts on side of van and then screw but what about the rear? Cheers👍
