In this video, I'm going to explain the new way to unlock brawlers in Brawl Stars! We're also going to break down the 3 new Brawlers coming in the update: Mandy, Chester, & Gray. This update is bringing a massive change by removing boxes, and replacing it with the Starr Road. In this update sneak peek, I'll explain how the Starr Road works, and give information on all of the new brawlers coming to Brawl Stars in the next update.

Honestly I’m not really sure if the new progression system is better than the old one. You seem to not get a lot of credits at every tier. But three new brawlers is so cool. GOOD JOB SAVING YOUR GAME SUPERCELL👏🏻

Fun fact: back in beta(2017) Bo was originally an epic brawler then he became a super rare brawler, then trophy road and now it's epic again.

This was the BEST BRAWL TALK EVER! Gray is such a unique brawler, no color and most probably doesn't speak either. I love where Brawl Stars is going with everything. There's so much happening I can't keep up with it all but I'm loving it! We can always count on Kairos to break it all down for us afterwards, thanks!

I personally didn't like removal of brawlers from trophy road . As it personally motivated me to push trophy when i started playing
It’s likely that a ton of credits will replace them. Don’t worry, the new player motivation is still there.
also about the new player motivation, we have a daily login reward system now where you literally get a 2 free brawlers after 7/30 days which is pretty motivating.
It's true, they should've kept those but then again, 10000 trophies is way too much for just a casual player to do in a reasonable amount of time..

I kinda feel like boxes should still exist alongside the credit system but i haven't tried it out myself yet so I can't tell for sure
I respectfully but firmly disagree, they're a form of gambling which shouldn't exist in a game alot of kids play... or really in any game at all tbh.
It's possible SC did this as some european countries are already starting to consider lootboxes (including brawl boxes) as a form of gambling.
I think the best compromise would be to not let any boxes be purchasable with gems or on the top of the Brawl Pass, but still exist as free rewards that cannot be bought on the bottom and end of the Brawl Pass
Supercell: we’re removing brawl boxes from the game to eliminate randomness which is bad for the game.
Also Supercell: Let’s release a new brawler who’s super is completely random

The only thing about the nature of this system that i predicted is.
1. Credits will be hard to obtain and brawlers will be very expensive
2. Because brawlers have a non-zero chance to get they will have to release EVEN more far more often
I have been thinking this too, it’s almost as bad as super cell with CR in the gold shower event…

Imagine for a second, if one of gray's star powers made his attack invisible for the enemy, or even more so mad him not pop out in bushes when he attacks, tottally busted but would be so chaotic in showdown
From the looks of it they buffed power points and gold by a lot in the brawl pass so leveling will be much easier than before if you play actively and do your club league.

Hey @KairosTime Gaming! At 15:55, you mention Mandy's super. In the Brawl Talk, Paula said her super automatically destroys brawlers, it doesn't do a flat rate of damage
Yep, because at 16:18, even though Mr.P has 4500 hp, the shot instantly destroys him, despite it dealing “3750” damage

no the Mr. P clip was a perfectly timed clip where the bo hit him at the exact time as mandy super. The super always does 3750
She said destroy because it deals a lot of damage, but it won't one shot brawlers
I just didn't understand one thing. The rewards that will be automatically collected from the brawl pass will only be the brawl boxes (R.I.P.) or will it be all of the stuff?
I wanted to keep my brawler tokens so I can automatically push the new brawlers to at least level 9 on the 12th of December. It's kinda hard to understand from the brawl talk! Awesome update, either way!!!

What's gonna happen to players who have unlocked a decent amount of brawlers? (Like 50ish) Do we get to skip the road or do we have to progress thru it normally?
I guess it's different for everyone depending how much brawlers you've unlocked
One of the gears would go to gale, probably his gear would also stun, and another is squeak, probably to gravitate enimies to the middle of his attacks

Chester is random to remind us of the randomness of boxes.

Quick question should I collect the rewards from the pass or let it change. Which one is more worth
The only point of the fame system is to prevent max out players to unlock new brawlers day 1. So I'm not a fan because if you want to play with the new brawlers you will have to buy them with gems or wait for a very long time until you get enough credits (it will be very long since you will start at 0 because of the fame system).

Also in the brawl talk they said Chester's attack goes from 1, to 3, to 5, based on how much ammo he has, so maybe the 1 2 3 4 isn't final?
So all of my boxes that i kept for unlocking new released brawlers ( cause i already got all of the brawlers by now ) will just transform into random power points and coins? Kinda dissapointing in my opinion. 😕
I think the water drop mythic gear is for eve. I think maybe she would do extra damage when hovering over water

i honestly really liked the update but as a player with all brawlers and all star powers and gadgets i've been saving boxes for the new legendary brawler for so long so that i can get it once it drops and now my boxes are gonna be wasted on gold and power points i just wish they'd let us either convert the boxes into credits or give us a chance to unlock chester with our saved boxes but no now 2 and a half brawl passes will be wasted
Same here. I have all 61 brawlers at power 11 with both gadgets and SP, and at least 2 gears on each one. Plus 165k gold. I've been saving boxes for a long time. Almost 700 regular boxes rn. All for nothing but more gold :(

I'm kind of getting a little annoyed by the same type of 'default' attacks that they keep giving new brawlers (like Mandy). They need to start switching things up. Bring new/fresh mechanics/attacks into the game.

I’m tired of the repetitive gameplay. 3 new brawlers, new way to unlock brawlers. But the same gameplay, it’s still boring for me.
I'm confused, if you get credits from the boxes AFTER the update drops, doesn't that mean it makes sense to wait to open boxes, because opening them now won't give you credits, but waiting might give you a head start on credits? This really needs to be clarified because some people sitting on a mountain of boxes and its still not clear on what will happen if they don't open boxes before the release drops.

As a maxed freetoplay player am the opposite of excited for this change. I will fall behind unlocking chromatic brawlers, which wasn't a problem because I always had 2 passes saved + all trophy road rewards

I feel confident that there will be more than enough chroma credits for a maxed player to easily keep up and for non-maxed players to get them. Specifically there are already enough gems to get every other Brawl Pass for free, so there should be at least 250 chroma credits and likely more (my guess is 300)

The only thing I don’t like is as a maxed player I can’t save up stuff. For instance I have a bunch of boxes saved up so when the new brawler comes out I can unlock them instantly. Now I have to grind to unlock them

You don't know how many credits you'll get a season, everything shown is a placeholder and may not be the final value
Bruh, i played for three years before getting a legendary while a friend found it under 1000 trophies. It isn't that bad if it's at least guaranteed.

The fame ranks we saw are Earth 1 to 3, Mercury 1 to 3 and Sun 1 to 3

I'm guessing it won't, and tbh for new players trying to complete the game, from the sneak peak at the rewards, they're basically fucked to get a mythic or upper rarity. I'm so glad I'm only missing legendary brawlers. I would be Hella mad if I was starting the game from 0.

I can see Chester super to be super annoying to play against, since you can only guess what kind of ability it will be. I don't think that having this kind of RNG in the game is a good thing, since for every other brawler as the enemy you know exactly what they can do at any time.
Because of the rng, his abilities should be toned down to be more mediocre, because the shock value of them will be enough to make them strong.
If you take a closer look all those are just abilities from other brawlers. There is the Dynamike super, EMZ normal attack, Byron self-heal gadget, Spike super and a sniper shot that stuns. And their damage have been nerfed.
It will be super annoying to play with but I hope it will be balanced as time goes.
I played for over a year and a half after global launch just to get crow as my first legendary during the pam meta way back😭, itll be weird that no one else has to go through that, but i guess its a positive change
I thought of a new mini game with Mandy she sits in a box with a teleporter and the rest are low HP brawlers on a giant island thing that she can One Shot possibly from the range and she stands still to get her damage highest as possible and the The rest will have to survive until the smoke closes in and kills her
This Brawl Talk was so impressive! The dev team really showed us they care about the game. If there was any turning point for Brawl Stars, this would be the one! Crazy to think we are getting all this in one update:
1. THREE very unique looking brawlers - one of them being a legendary after more than a year! Oh and two of them are practically FREE brawlers!
2. No more boxes! A brand new way to unlock brawlers in the game using the new currency Credits! A total revamp of the progression system, which is so refreshing to see after so long.
3. 4 new Mythic Gears!
4. The best value Brawl Pass ever since we are getting half the gems back and extra credits! Plus we get to keep the rewards we unlocked so far as well!
5. A TON of new skins, didn't bother to count! All of them look amazing!
6. Brawlidays rewards!
7. A free skin for everyone as always for the 4th anniversary of the game.
8. A new cosmetic introduced to flex your OGness in Brawl Stars, which is great for long term players! I love this one a lot!
9. Duels are becoming permanent now, which is great since most players love the mode!
10. The new Starr Road provides new players an easy and simple road to getting new brawlers! No more randomness! And yeah legendaries won't take years to unlock anymore!
After reading this list, there's no way you can say this update was anything less than amazing. Keep it up, Brawl Stars! All this has truly revived my love for the game!🙏

Excited to get fucked. They are now montezing trophy road brawlers an evrry other brawler. But trophy road brawlers were free u csn get from jus playing. Now it cost gems. This update is a biggie! Props to the team on what they did. Though in my personal opinion, the most useless feature they added is the fame system. I would rather save my credits to unlock newer brawlers rather than claiming them, the ones from the brawl pass at least, to get something cosmetic. I guess I thought they could let us stockpile overflowing credits but that would be too btoken for currently maxed players, despite -counter argument- the fact that all progress is now under supercell’s control (even more than before, as if it weren’t) considering that luck is out of the game. I wish that they would’ve implemented something to give active players a chance to boost their progress by adding something akin to the token pool we earn from when playing, but for credit, but have it be a fixed max number of additional credits we can earn per week. The new brawlers are fun so far, but adding chester is a bit ironic considering they just removed boxes, he’s my least favorite from first glance. I guess we’ll have to wait and see for further details.

Not to sound like a killjoy but how will the power point and gold amounts in brawl passes scale with the removal of boxes? New brawlers were not the only thing we got from them

Imagine at the end of a heist game when you're losing by a few percent and you're Mandy with a super... you could blast their safe from the other half of the map and get the win. All these brawlers are so cool!

Hey kairos thanks for a great brawl talk. I just had a question. Not sure if I missed it or not but what is going to happen to the brawler tokens we get from the brawl pass? Will those disappear?
Grey's tp is going to be so annoying. especially in gem grab he can just tp the gem holder out or imagine chasing him and he swaps places with a shelly with super
One question that I MUST KNOW: should I complete my weekly quests asap to claim as much big boxes from the brawl pass or will the substitute reward after the update have more value
You'll want to complete as much of the Brawl Pass before the update as possible
to be honest i thought this was a terrible change since we got used to boxes from the launch of the game but i was really surprised by the way they implemented credits

What about the boxes from previous seasons? Are those going to also change into the brawler credits after being collected like how they will for this season, or will the boxes just be collected with no replacement?
all boxes would just be autocollected

@@sazzowl_gaming8203 I'm saying that for uncollected boxes from the previous seasons, will they also become brawler credits to collect too like how they are for this season, or are those boxes just going to be collected with no brawler credits to go along with them
I think the issue is that there are too many types of currencies that will overwhelm the player. This leads to confusion and more spending as players do not understand the value of their goods.
The update is great but removing boxes means brawl stars has lost a significant amount of revenue so how will they cope with it(they certainly wouldn’t want to go into loss)
Maybe with skins? This update has a lot of skins. They also made that you can buy brawlers with gems

Kinda sad that boxes are going and I'm gonna miss the surprise of the flashing icon and silhouette of the brawler before the shock of who it is, I think they should keep boxes in the shop for like gems just so yt channels or anyone else can just open them, but still have the starr road, trophy road and brawl pass with tokens. (they should of had the old tickets instead of tokens as well cos it kinda fits starr road and would be cool)

@@scotty-fish2124 I just slowed it to 0.25x, and, you’re right about the Bo arrow dealing the rest of the damage, they both hit at the exact same time. Paula did say that Mandy has THE longest range, so at least that part of my comment was true
