"Last of Stars" is very true. nowdays becoming relevant for more than 10 years is a challenge itself because of internet. SRK is definitely one of greatest personallity from India
The fun fact is that some of his so-called "worst" movies are what that represent the true form of art, especially, acting-wise.... It's just that they were kind of flop in the "time" they were released because Indian audience wasn't ready for some "progressive" stuff... So, yes you watch his hit movies... But watching his "flop" movies is also important, if you do not wanna miss true heart touching movies... Shahrukh hasn't done anything which is bad yet. It's just that some of his stuff was too much to digest for some very rigid parts of the society back then. E.g., His "now all-time classic" movie "Swades" was a flop and later average in the time it was released although it was the best movie chosen by the critics. Similarly, "Fan" and "Paheli" (having feminist undertones) were praised by critics but flop in popular market in India. Also, he is the live example of how it is possible to manifest all the things that you want in life, if you truly "know yourself". His life is itself worthy of being made into an epic Biopic. He is intelligent as well as wise, both in truly intellectual sense and emotional sense. May be that's why when he is on screen, he can make you believe and sympathize in anything, the villain in front of you, the happy, cheesy, or tragic hero in front of you.

And there never will be, no matter what the new kids bring to the table More importantly, there will never be a star like Shah Rukh Khan. The kind to lift the industry instead of the industry lifting him. Amitabh Bachhan before him, and Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor etc before them both. Shah Rukh quite literally is the last of the stars. The only one who could have come close in his generation was Hrithik (yes I know Salman) and Amir. But both chose to be a different kind of artist. Chosing to self reflect in movies (Hrithik) or to create greatly detailed works of art (Amir). Shah Rukh on the other hand brings theatre to the Cinema. Chooses to tell tales, to pour out love, to create a stage of magnificence. The old school magic but progressive too. He is literally the last of the stars.
