I need a church in Waco Texas,im willing to drive 30 miles to worship my Lord Jesus. Thank you for a wonderful message,Jacob. Ive listened intently for several years now, and since Israel's hamas invasion of Oct 7th, more so. Thank you for your prayerful , heartfelt teachings for all who will hear the Truth of Gods Wisdom and read His Word for themselves, and not sit blindly in cold pews ,texting and watching the clock up to the time that they can get out for dinner and football, which is Texas's Supreme idolatry. Pray for us plz 😢
Oh Jacob, little wonder you show a righteous anger. My heart is so sore for Israel and concern for young Jewish students in universities around the world. God Bless you & strengthen you as you travel. Praying for you All x
Hi Jay, I hope you see this. The GO of the RCCG of Nigeria also preaches another Jesus. He uses Matthew 23:23 to preach that anyone who doesn't pay their tithes will not make heaven. Millions following this man and his doctrine. Please research and tell Jacob. It's diabolical what's happening in Nigeria and the business men who are running churches.
Look, I've never read "The Shack" or know who the author is, or am familiar with anything that he has to say, but, from my own study of Scripture I've come to the firm conclusion that Penal Substitutionary Atonement (PSA) is an unbiblical doctrine. First of all, before addressing this, the terms need to be defined. What is "sin"? The essence of what "sin" is is not transgressions of the law. Because of the English term it can be applied that way, and I'm sure that the terms in the Hebrew and Greek can be used that way, but the true essence of what sin is is failing to love God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength and failing to love your neighbor as yourself. You must ask yourself, are we "sinners" because we sin, or do we sin because we are "sinners"? PSA asserts that God is obsessed with the transgressions and must have every individual transgression paid for. But what about the root? What about us in our sin nature? PSA acknowledges that one day we will be transformed, but in the meantime we need to become legalists and monitor our own actions to please God, even though the Bible clearly says that our own righteousness is never enough! If you believe in PSA you believe in legalism. I assert that in reality that what the Bible teaches is the opposite of PSA. Jesus didn't die for all of the individual transgressions that I've done (otherwise why does Jesus clearly teach that we have to forgive the transgressions of others because God has forgiven our transgressions? Jesus death on the cross doesn't make right the individual transgressions that we've done here on earth, which is why we need to forgive the transgressions of others as God has forgiven our transgressions.). In fact, PSA asserts that Jesus' death on the cross is His death simultaneously paid the price to make us right under the old covenant while being the sacrifice to start a new covenant. There's NOTHING in Scripture that supports such a view. All sacrifices are mutually exclusive. Either a sacrifice is made to start a covenant or a sacrifice is made under the terms of an established covenant. IT CAN'T BE BOTH. And so, the biblical view of Jesus' death on the cross is to form the New Covenant, and as such, what Jesus death dealt with was our sin-nature. He died to make us new creatures. We because new creations in the Spirit with a new nature. We have a new nature to love God and to love people. If you don't have that are you truly saved? So again, Jesus' death wasn't about our transgressions of the law (which is where the term Penal comes from in PSA) but Jesus' death dealt with our fallen nature. Now that we're a new creation, and born again as sons and daughters of the Living God, our place is in God's presence because we are His children! If we believe that we can go into heaven without the new nature and new life that we obtain in Jesus Christ, and we try to live by the law and do what's right under the law, we will be as one at the wedding feast without a wedding garment, and the Master of the feast will ask how we were able to get in without an invitation and the wedding garment. And we know what happened to that individual. So, I would encourage you to rethink and rephrase your position on PSA. If your view on PSA is different than what is asserted by Reformed Theology than I would encourage you Jacob, to clarify your position to make sure that people don't confuse it with the PSA taught by Reformed Theology. Thank you.

The only thing that I can conclude is that the pope does not believe that Jesus died for the sins of mankind. Now the cat is indeed out of the bag.
