If people are adamant about having city based teams, flying players around the us is the wrong way to do it. Just have all the teams at one location. Then have the org s setup a meetup/viewing party type locations like sports teams do during away playoff games.
Aches is one of the reasons competitive cod is where it is today. One of the bests shit talkers, one of the best leaders, and the antagonist to many peoples perfect story. I will never forget the slums hardpoint against impact where clay teep crim and aches destroyed the dynasty and we could all tell the torch had been passed. Good times. He’s also been the optic stopper for years. Love this guy
Jonas TheViking ruclips.net/video/lB8wtPe0FrY/видео.html This entire event was awesome but this was one of the moments where we could tell impact wasn’t the best team in the world anymore. Aches fried the entire series.
I’m happy to hear from aches, one of the OG in cod. Especially all the story about COD ghost is bringing back nostalgia. I miss that game competitively
Keith I did and the competitive aspect of ghost was amazing, imo best year in recent memory due to multiple reason, drama, story lines, trades everything
I've always disliked aches because I've only seen him being toxic in montages but listening to this podcast has been an eye-opener and has changed my opinion of him he's much more down to earth than I first thought
I really like how we got to see things from his point of view, love seeing both sides of the coin. Really hoping Formal comes through that would be insane!

GOAT STATUS. I’m really glad they talked about how devs don’t communicate and how they always change stuff that people don’t ask for. It’s nice to see these 2 speak out on it, even if it was a little bit.
Coronel Tapioca Productions If you don’t think Call of Duty takes no skill, then there is no helping you 🤡. Sorry, but you cannot tell anyone that Call of Duty takes skill after playing an actual competitive game like Counter Strike. Your argument of saying “all the tournaments you won shows it takes no skill” shows you are simple minded about how people want to play games. Some people want to play competitive games and have fun and tryhard but not at the pro level because of traveling and bootcamp etc. Go play Counter Strike and see how well you do if you try to play like it’s Call of Duty. You’ll be shit on because Counter Strike is a skill based game. And youtubers like WarOwl agree that Call of Duty is just a run and gun point and shoot game that uses very little strategy and tactics. Compare a Counter Strike match to a Call of Duty game . It’s obvious that Counter strike is superior and if you try to argue that 🤣. And if you want to be technical , yes Call of Duty TECHNICALLY takes “skill” , but when people say it takes “no skill” we mean the skill ceiling is low. If you cant see that you are retarded. Oh wait Edit: Lmao you play Black ops 4 on PS4😂 yeah no wonder your defending your precious Call of Duty , typical. Don’t respond to this comment until you get a PC/Laptop and get to L.E.M at least on Counter Strike. Or if you want an easier game that’s harder than Call of Duty. Diamond on Rainbow Six Siege. I’ll wait.
bell0621 And the argument “go play cs like cod and you will get shit on” is terrible because guess what go play fortnite or R6 like CS and you too will get shit on, pretty obvious
I always loved the meme of aches on the COL wrecking ball breaking through the green wall. His tweet was "excuse me I'm coming through" then the steal my teammates I'm still coming through
is it just me or is it wild to see Aches maturing over the years.... going from Blops2 non-stop trash talk to seeing things from a mature stand point. Thumbs up to Aches!!
Being at Cod XP in the crowd when cloud 9 beat optic...its was a moment I will definitely never forget. Hell even went to the scuf booth and met aches and them after that match.
Quality episode. Great to hear from aches and more importantly kudos to Hecz for the total unbiased and genuine assessments and conversation being able to remove himself from optic and actually be somewhat of a non polarised journalist and interviewer. Exactly what the community needs
One thing i hate about cod as an esport is the lack of diversity in maps. Usually there are like 3-5 comp maps depending on the mode and sometimes you get a series where there is the same map in the rotation 2-3 times and it gets boring to watch. IMO they need separate maps for SnD as you cant expect a map designed for respawn modes to play well in SnD. Would love to see cod release a competitor edition or something with 5-6 maps specifically designed for comp play.
Best eavesdrop podcast this far. I always hated and loved Aches at the same time but over the years my love for him have grown. I was so happy that he destroyed Optic at champs and won the whole thing. I'm even a Optic fan saying this!
Jesus H3cz!!! an amazing interview, I love seeing OG (origininal) pro's opinions of the pro league and how it should be runned, been a fan of cod competitive since 09 !! keep killing it H3cz!!!!!
and seriously this one of the best podcasts for cod competitive in the whole world!! You just need to keep providing players and everyone apart of the league to put in their opinion !! this is so good for the community and for cod competitive in general

Great video Hecz! I’ve been watching you, Optic and your videos for 10+ years now and I’m thankful for what you’ve done for esports as a whole. So I’ve been thinking about this for a long time “How can we get esports to be as big as “regular sports?”. #1 Allow kids access to the game at a young age (Ok we have this already) #2 Create minor (little) leagues for them to play in as they get older #3 Collaborate with schools to have school teams (Middle/High school) #4 Collaborate with colleges and create a NCAA type league #5 Create an amateur league #6 Create a pro league (we already have) The problem right now is that in every esport we have professionals but not a clear path to get there, unlike regular sports. On the subject of franchising, I know where you are coming from and it will be a hard transition but I think it provides a way to expand the pro league even further, allow more players (lesser/better talent) in, and in the long run be better situation for esports as a whole. Unlike traditional sports, esports began in the era of the internet which made non franchising possible. But if esports is to compare and even be bigger than traditional sports as a whole, I believe franchising is our best option. Hope you read this and please tell me what you think (Of course this is just my opinion). Have a great day boss!
