Here is my review, or rather, my admiration post about Takanashi Kiara - Hinotori After hearing the preview for the first time, I've listened to it a dozen more times. It also became my first osu! (rhythm game) map that I genuinely wanted to try ranking, and I spent all night into the morning trying to perfect it, but I digress. I really love Tenchou's singing voice, it's not necessarily as flamboyant or serene as some other idols but it has a very "homey" feeling to it. Her voice radiates warmth and coziness just as a phoenix would. The cadence of her words too, reminds me of artists like "nano.ripe" or "KISHIDA KYOUDAN & the AKEBOSHI ROCKETS" in that she emphasizes and inflects more on the あs and certain syllables. When I found out that the composer of the song was SYNC. ARTS (makes Touhou songs), I was a bit surprised. I didn't realize it was SYNC. ARTS until after the release because the guitar only became more prevalent to me after hearing the full song. Now that it's out I can hear the rock sounding instrumental a lot better and I'm really happy with how it came out, definitely something I can jam to. I've never heard of Daisuke Bito before but he popped off on the guitar And wow, it does resemble an anime opening a lot, but in a very good way, in that I can recognize when the chorus is coming and I can get hype because the instrumental and her voice match either so well. Right now the English captions only show romaji so I can't make much comment about the lyrics since I recognize only a few words, but I liked the slow part. Even though English and Japanese are two very different languages, Kiara manages to blend them together extremely well, as she does in her streams. Lastly, the music video was 🔥 Mamaloni absolutely killed the art, absolutely beautiful eye candy to look at: @CRUNCHY_MMLON for any twitter users, definitely worth your follow. Let's not forgot the reaper who animated this whole thing together too, wow. She made the background feel so alive, especially at parts around 0:46 where Kiara's eyes open and it flows right into the chorus. It's like I'm watching an orange soda ad, it was just so well done, big kudos o7 to Calli on this one Overall, I really genuinely enjoyed listening to 10chous single. It wasn't anything overly unique or over-the-top, but she did a really great job on her first song and showed us her idol potential with studio quality production. I'm excited for any future songs she plans to release, and it would be even more amazing to see collabs between her and Calli or even Pekora. Okay guys, picture this: 00:00 An open field on the sunset light, 3 adventurers, Ame, Gura, Ina, came out of a rock cave. 00:05 A shooting flame fell from the sky, going straight until it crashes not so far away from them, the 3 hurries to see what it is. Then the title shows up "HINOTORI". 00:13 The 3 find out that the flame left a smoking crater, with a girl inside it, struggling to stand up (Kiara). 00:18 The camera zooms at Kiara's face, she smiles. Then it cuts to the 3's faces: Gura grinning her shork teeth, Ame eye-smiling, and Ina stares curiously, holding her book, tilting her head to the side. 00:25 Darkness suddenly spreads, with black clouds and pink lightnings in the sky. All the girls looking confused and they see a big rift opened in the distance, with otherworldly soldiers coming out of it. 00:36 A silhouette with glowing red eyes came out of the portal, carrying a big scythe in her hand, and pink lightning surges on her body. The camera zooms in to reveal Calli. Plot: Kiara reincarnates once again as a warrior and idol(plus fast food chain owner). KFP finally has its Grand Opening, and KFP starts popping off, easily becoming one of the best fast food chains in Japan. Then one day a group of creatures from an alternate-universe swarm the building and it gets destroyed. Then she was saved by this beautiful pink haired girl named Mori Calliope. She was then brought to an underground facility and was told about the situation, apparently a wormhole was opened and millions of said creatures appeared. And the creatures were given the codename "Anti". Kiara was then introduced to 3 other allies named Gawr Gura, Amelia Watson, and Ninomae Ina'nis. With Kiara being the fifth member of the group, the 5 were called "HoloMyth". A group aiming to close the wormhole and take down every Anti in the process.
You know, I noticed that "Hi No Tori" (Fire Bird) can also mean PHOENIX. Which is weird because Kiara uses the word 不死鳥 (read Fushichou, meaning: Bird who can't die) for Phoenix.

She supports others where she can, and truly shines bright like a phoenix. I guess I completely fell when I saw her react to that cancer patients chat that got superchatted again to highlight it. She was put in a damn hard place there, I wouldn't know how I would react in that situation (I am a small twitch streamer for fun, so it could happen). She took it serious and tried to convey hope for what may await for everyone after death. That moment brought me to tears, and that's something most movies fail to achieve, even if they have a emotionally moving storyline. As another native german speaker, it's a great pleasure to see her teach some german and proving the connotation that german is an agressive language in general wrong. I mean it can be really harsh sounding, if you wish to sound harsh, but that's not the normal conversational tone. I hope she will explain some german sayings in a dedicated stream, I think that would be funny and informational (am always interested in sayings from other cultures). Some I can think of at the moment: "der frühe Vogel fängt den Wurm" "es ist nicht alles Gold, was glänzt" "reden ist Silber, schweigen ist Gold" "die Axt im Haus ersetzt den Zimmermann" And maybe she could explain the german memes like "my english is not the yellow of the egg" from those loddar matheus parodies "again what learned". now that turned into a wall of text too, did not intend that^^ but may I suggest if you write texts like these try to space the paragraphs out a bit (like I tried and may have failed to do correctly), it really helps readability in my opinion. Not an attack on you, just something I find people should do more often when writing comments ;)
I find some of the lyrics a little cringy and they don't always rhyme/flow that well to my ears... I love Kiara I wish I had a different opinion but wELP Oh, and the "astray" part did not rhyme with anything, help. bridge pls anyway pls continue loving it

Here is my review, or rather, my admiration post about Takanashi Kiara - Hinotori
After hearing the preview for the first time, I've listened to it a dozen more times. It also became my first osu! (rhythm game) map that I genuinely wanted to try ranking, and I spent all night into the morning trying to perfect it, but I digress.
I really love Tenchou's singing voice, it's not necessarily as flamboyant or serene as some other idols but it has a very "homey" feeling to it. Her voice radiates warmth and coziness just as a phoenix would.
The cadence of her words too, reminds me of artists like "nano.ripe" or "KISHIDA KYOUDAN & the AKEBOSHI ROCKETS" in that she emphasizes and inflects more on the あs and certain syllables.
When I found out that the composer of the song was SYNC. ARTS (makes Touhou songs), I was a bit surprised. I didn't realize it was SYNC. ARTS until after the release because the guitar only became more prevalent to me after hearing the full song. Now that it's out I can hear the rock sounding instrumental a lot better and I'm really happy with how it came out, definitely something I can jam to. I've never heard of Daisuke Bito before but he popped off on the guitar
And wow, it does resemble an anime opening a lot, but in a very good way, in that I can recognize when the chorus is coming and I can get hype because the instrumental and her voice match either so well. Right now the English captions only show romaji so I can't make much comment about the lyrics since I recognize only a few words, but I liked the slow part. Even though English and Japanese are two very different languages, Kiara manages to blend them together extremely well, as she does in her streams.
Lastly, the music video was 🔥

Overall, I really genuinely enjoyed listening to 10chous single. It wasn't anything overly unique or over-the-top, but she did a really great job on her first song and showed us her idol potential with studio quality production. I'm excited for any future songs she plans to release, and it would be even more amazing to see collabs between her and Calli or even Pekora. 00:00 An open field on the sunset light, 3 adventurers, Ame, Gura, Ina, came out of a rock cave.
00:05 A shooting flame fell from the sky, going straight until it crashes not so far away from them, the 3 hurries to see what it is. Then the title shows up "HINOTORI".
00:13 The 3 find out that the flame left a smoking crater, with a girl inside it, struggling to stand up (Kiara).
00:18 The camera zooms at Kiara's face, she smiles. Then it cuts to the 3's faces: Gura grinning her shork teeth, Ame eye-smiling, and Ina stares curiously, holding her book, tilting her head to the side.

Plot: Kiara reincarnates once again as a warrior and idol(plus fast food chain owner). KFP finally has its Grand Opening, and KFP starts popping off, easily becoming one of the best fast food chains in Japan. Then one day a group of creatures from an alternate-universe swarm the building and it gets destroyed. Then she was saved by this beautiful pink haired girl named Mori Calliope. She was then brought to an underground facility and was told about the situation, apparently a wormhole was opened and millions of said creatures appeared. And the creatures were given the codename "Anti". Kiara was then introduced to 3 other allies named Gawr Gura, Amelia Watson, and Ninomae Ina'nis. With Kiara being the fifth member of the group, the 5 were called "HoloMyth". A group aiming to close the wormhole and take down every Anti in the process.

Being able to switch between German and English on the fly is one thing, but to do it for Japanese as well? You may just be a language genius and just what it needs to bridge the gap between Hololive EN and JP. But that isn't your only great quality. Although Amelia is the one I watch the most, and the only one I joined in membership (poor university student here too, wish I could join em all), Kiara has a special place in my heart for her honesty, her enthusiasm and cheerfullness. She supports others where she can, and truly shines bright like a phoenix. I guess I completely fell when I saw her react to that cancer patients chat that got superchatted again to highlight it. She was put in a damn hard place there, I wouldn't know how I would react in that situation (I am a small twitch streamer for fun, so it could happen). She took it serious and tried to convey hope for what may await for everyone after death. That moment brought me to tears, and that's something most movies fail to achieve, even if they have a emotionally moving storyline.
As another native german speaker, it's a great pleasure to see her teach some german and proving the connotation that german is an agressive language in general wrong. I mean it can be really harsh sounding, if you wish to sound harsh, but that's not the normal conversational tone. I hope she will explain some german sayings in a dedicated stream, I think that would be funny and informational (am always interested in sayings from other cultures). Some I can think of at the moment: "der frühe Vogel fängt den Wurm" "es ist nicht alles Gold, was glänzt" "reden ist Silber, schweigen ist Gold" "die Axt im Haus ersetzt den Zimmermann"
And maybe she could explain the german memes like "my english is not the yellow of the egg" from those loddar matheus parodies "again what learned".
