I’m new to hunting, first year in fact. Nobody I am close with hunts or fishes but thankfully, bc of your content, I went pheasant hunting in SD, fishing in Minnesota and small game hunting in Missouri, Michigan, and Indiana. I have my car camping set up dialed in for this coming season and am looking forward to the getting back out there. Thank you Meateater and thank you Kevin Murphy.

Because of meateater and Kevin I bought my Oregon hunting license, upland bird tag, and fall Turkey tag this year. First hunt camp is next weekend. first quarry of two Mountain Quail in the Alsea Unit of Oregon. Meat is in the freezer waiting for more.
I also used "The complete guide vol 2", which I purchased last Christmas, to help me process the meat. Thank you again, everyone at meateater.

Nice.. I have a truck that is just dedicated to hunting with all my gear left in it.. then all the stuff paired down some for packing in on my mules plus adding the gear I need to take care of the mules..also the hounds of course they go everywhere with me.. because if you can't do it with a dog I just don't care to do it.
