I really love Odd eye's era. Because HanDong comeback with the team after almost one year. And i can really feel that they put a lot of work on HanDong. You can see HanDong had more lines, center, even a special clip with her as the protagonist. Also the Odd Eye Dance Video (Dystopia ver.) have the both performance outfits of Scream and Boca, that was the time when she was absent. This dance video maybe is the only chance for InSomnia to watch HanDong wear those era outfits. And the transition is crazy, actually every transiting time have reason, like they have some dance's move is same in Scream, so that time will transit to the Scream's outfits, Boca too. They really love HanDong😭😭and truly know how InSomnia want to see.❤

I mean at first I was digging the outfits and how the girls were playing with their hats and vest during the choreo was very cute. Alarm bells were ringing because the suits and hat outfits was from one RtU promo pic and that's it. Nothing ever after that except photocards. So I knew I was in trouble when I saw them. But then the "Scream" outfits hit in the first chorus and I lost my mind. And then when I saw HanDong in their with her own "Scream" outfit, I squealed. The the transition to the "BOCA" outfits with HanDong happened and I died and went to heaven. I wasn't sure but was that a delayed reaction to the era suits? If so, that's hilarious. I also really appricated the "Scream" and "BOCA" transitions when HanDong was in the center. The mask and flag effects were top notch transitions with HanDong unveiling the mask at the end. Such a treat from Dreamcatcher and company and very appreciated. I didn't know how much I needed this til I saw it. I was not ready. Lol "Wind Blows" play color version is just visually stunning. Everyone looks beautiful and badass. The outfits are on point. I saw that gulp at JiU's part haha. If you have a 4k television, watch this on that. It looks amazing. The only complaint I have was we need a front center shot of the dance break! Not this weird flying camera off angle. I guess that's what the dance practice and fancams are for, but where else can we get a shot of the dance break with this high visual fidelity. BTW the other play color versions of their songs are just a stunning. Your prediction for "Poison Love" is so spot on, haha. But the mv definitely makes me like the song more. It looks like you melting while watching this haha. While the other self made MV's in the dystopia trilogy were more literal lyric translations. For Odd Eye Dystopia version, it just goes to show how precise they r with their choreo to make the transitions from the different outfits look seamless since it takes several different takes of them dancing in their different outfits to the song to capture the outfit changes. Poison Love is prolly my favourite of their self-made MV's since it marked Dongie's return to the group and they were OT7 again and they showed their love for Dongie by having her the main character in the video. 😃

I always ALWAYS love watching poison love lol. Since Handong wasn't able to join the previous ones, they really made her the center lmao. And the message of the MV is funny too like eveyone was in love with Handong including herself There was also a 4Memory special stage wherein they greeted Gahyeon in a unique way! So, this stretch of material was pretty emotional for a lot of Insomnias, because Handong was FINALLY back, and got to wear the costumes for the videos she missed, and they re-integrated her into the choreo, rejiggered the lines so she got vocals others had filled in for, and then the 'unmasking", because they'd used a masked backup dancer to represent her while she was gone, and pf course a whole ass "Everyone loves Handong" special clip.. It's pretty rare for kpop groups to devote so much care to keeping a member "present" when they have to go on haitus for whatever reason, I think the convention in kpop is to mostly politely ignore the absence of members and not to speak about it it (the subtext being that often members are missing because they're recovering from injuries, or exhaustion, or mental health struggles, and kpop, as much as I love it, is just not very transparent about that kind of thing most of the time).
I could see why it would be emotional, it felt so good to see her back in videos and hear her in songs and for me it was only a few days. I couldn't imagine going almost a year waiting for her return! 🥰

The beginning outfits are part of the wardrobe for Black or White, then switches to SuitCatcher (but I can't remember which song they wore the suits for...) Since Han Dong missed some of these, like Scream and Boca, we had no idea what she would have been wearing until this video. Herr outfits match everybody else. I always ALWAYS love watching poison love lol. Since Handong wasn't able to join the previous ones, they really made her the center lmao. And the message of the MV is funny too like eveyone was in love with Handong including herself

So, this stretch of material was pretty emotional for a lot of Insomnias, because Handong was FINALLY back, and got to wear the costumes for the videos she missed, and they re-integrated her into the choreo, rejiggered the lines so she got vocals others had filled in for, and then the 'unmasking", because they'd used a masked backup dancer to represent her while she was gone, and pf course a whole ass "Everyone loves Handong" special clip.. It's pretty rare for kpop groups to devote so much care to keeping a member "present" when they have to go on haitus for whatever reason, I think the convention in kpop is to mostly politely ignore the absence of members and not to speak about it it (the subtext being that often members are missing because they're recovering from injuries, or exhaustion, or mental health struggles, and kpop, as much as I love it, is just not very transparent about that kind of thing most of the time).
I could see why it would be emotional, it felt so good to see her back in videos and hear her in songs and for me it was only a few days. I couldn't imagine going almost a year waiting for her return! 🥰
Did you catch the significance of Handong holding the mask in the "Scream" era outfits at the end of the Dystopia "Odd Eye" video? I thought that was cool af. I also wonder if it was the first time Insomnia saw Dongie in "Boca" and "Scream" stage outfits.
Absolutely did! My brain was malfunctioning to comment on it tbh LOL but it's a reason why I snipped it for the thumbnail for the video! Thought it was fantastic with her holding the mask almost like a "look it's me" type moment!

The video is basically a 'Wait a second, let's rewind that and see something...'' The beginning outfits are part of the wardrobe for Black or White, then switches to SuitCatcher (but I can't remember which song they wore the suits for...) Since Han Dong missed some of these, like Scream and Boca, we had no idea what she would have been wearing until this video. Herr outfits match everybody else. My questions are, did they make her outfits here retroactively or did they already have her wardrobe planned out before she got stuck in China?
