Freshwater seals live not only on Baikal but also in the lakes of Karelia. I was lucky to see several of them when I was on an excursion to the lakes of Karelia. I also visited the Curonian Spit several times, including at the ornithological station which is described in the video, and saw these huge bird traps and white sand beaches. I also went on an excursion to the North Caucasus and mountainous Ingushetia. I was in the Erzi Nature Reserve. It was very beautiful there.

In Russia, more than 190 nationalities live, six of them with over a million people. Accordingly, the diversity of cultures is also quite significant.
I myself lived in the places shown in this film. The state supports the preservation of nations and their languages and ways of life. For example, there are schools where Nenets children are taught in their language, preserving their customs. However, many have moved to the cities, especially the young.
Tatars, Ukrainians, Jews, Buryats, Yakuts, Chukchi, Shors, people of the Caucasus... This film showcases a tiny fraction of the diversity. Russia is enormous, allowing for the preservation of uniqueness without complete assimilation, while still sharing a common destiny and an additional common history. I hope it will continue this way.

This video gives a better version of the reality of the Russians than the media could possibly convey
What stood out to me was
    1 the strength
    2 the sense of unity
3 the old school arm wrestling poachers the respect involved in that to me is incredible
Frankly the west could learn a thing or 2 from these guys

The reality of russonazi's committing a genocide on their "Slavic Brothers" is shown by the media. Frankly, russia has no real strenght, it's all panicking. There is no unity, just the hegemony of a kleptocracy.
Russia's natural environment is under great threat, and the russian government does not seem to care much.
