My heart goes out to all who went through this. So devastating and I can’t even imagine. 🙏

Absolutely tragic! Thank you for helping in the search, Brandon. ❤
I really did not do much. Dropped Jonathan Petramala off. The police said they wanted me to blast my lights when they got roads cleared but ended up getting light before roads were cleared.
@@WxChasingthe storm chasers have always been more then just that. Its nice to see u guys getting recognized now for the help u provide on the ground immediately following the storms. U all are always first on the scene as u are following the storms from their birth.

Thank you Brandon for telling this heart wrenching story with your stellar drone photography. My prayers are with the families of Barnsdall OK. 😢
God bless you! Jesus saves sinners!
It hit different when you see it all in the light of day. It's easier to comprehend when a camera is focused on one destroyed home right after it happened. Even when chasers are saying half the town is gone it doesn't feel real.
BECAUSE NONE OF IT IS REAL UNTIL ITS ALL GONE THEN MAN WILL BOW DOWN TO BEING LIFE SENSITIVE...

Jesus. People weren't kidding when they said half the town was literally gone. Even in the dark, they could see it. This probably looks ten times worse to them in the daylight.

I was out there all last night helping search for people
I think drones are very helpful in this situation.....A family might not be able to get into their town because they are being treated in the hospital and at least footage like this can show them the state of their home.
Yeah you're right but it still feels invasive especially when people are using it to make money.
@@jaleach123 its apart of their job. Think of it like journalism. Not everything you see with journalism isn’t sunshine and rainbows. And clearly with storm chasing that isn’t the case. This is supposed to be informative. And I’m sure the people of Barnsdall appreciate the info coming out of Barnsdall. It’s time for clean up and this will help the state determine how much damage and how the state can produce a state of emergency like last week with Sulphur, OK. I get the “invasion of privacy” but realistically there’s not much privacy to be had in the town of Barnsdall today. They need help, this helps get the word out there.
@@jaleach123I get what you mean. At first glance, it can feel a little predatory. Here, these people lost everything, even their lives sometimes. But these chasers are spending thousands of their own money on gas, food and hotels to chase these storms, and are a HUGE benefit to the viewers and weather organizations. Radar can only tell part of the story, and these chasers are eyes on the ground. They’re often the first ones to alert authorities that there’s a dangerous tornado on the ground, especially in areas that haven’t invested in any kind of radar, which is detrimental to be able to warn people and give them time to get to safety. After a storm, it’s dangerous to go into these areas on foot, and drone footage is so helpful to first responders. It’s also helpful to weather organizations who have the task of rating a tornado accurately. In my opinion, these chasers aren’t just twister junkies, praying for destructive storms, so they can cash in. They’re passionate about the weather, and are putting their lives on the line to warn those of us that are huddled in our safest spot available to us, with our family and pets and helmets, praying for it to be over. And when the tornado finally passes, these chasers are there before any first responders, and they’ve got medical bags and working vehicles, and help the people that just lost everything. I think the world of them, and am grateful for their contribution. Every once in a while they get paid for all that, and i don’t see anything wrong with that. You don’t see the Hollywood paparazzi helping people or government agencies tasked to save peoples lives-they’re the real predators who never risk their own lives, just make money ruining other peoples lives. They’re the predators.
It is crazy how appreciative people are. They always say the not knowing is the most difficult part. It’s also helpful for fighting insurance and we donate footage for those impacted.
@@jaleach123 Something is wrong with you...
Prayers for all that this storm hit last night. Was watching on Ryan Hall Y’all.
3:05 - It's amazing how that double-wide is mostly intact, despite being in the center of the destruction path where every other house was torn to shreds.
I seen that too. Most of the new “manufactured” homes are built to level 3 which is supposed to with stand cat 3 hurricane. But Ofcourse a tornado is different. Maybe it was strapped down to the absolute max.
That's usually the result from a multi vortex tornado where one house is destroyed, and the one across the street is seemingly untouched
There was a multi-vortex tornado in Stillwater in 1990 that miraculously missed our house and destroyed every house around us. Like something out of a movie to toddle out and see a few shingles in your yard, and nothing but slabs around you.
I have done a ton of tornado clean ups throughout oklahoma and i always see the strangest things untouched. I once found a mouse with the pad and keyboard untouched in a room that was completely destroyed only thing standing was the computer desk… in a home that was basically decimated. This shows that the tornados have dead spots within them super sad and watching it live last night i knew when they showed the circulation it was a big one.
Tornados can kill! Jesus saves sinners! God bless you
This has been a vicious year for tornados.
I wish it was over but we have some more weeks a head of us and then the end of summer as well. Its going to be a longer season for sure.
And it's only going to get worse.
These tornadoes are created by man-made by the government spraying chemicals in the air with airplanes to change weather patterns.
This is not regular mother nature.
The Government wants to take over land and sell it to China and how they do that is they wipe out states that they want to sell.
They did it with Hawaii and caused a lot of destruction and death with man-made fire. Mother nature didn't do that.
If you keep adding it up connecting the dots you'll get your answers.
Eventually they're going to wipe out the whole United States and sell the land to China. All these big developers are already coming in buying land up that has been destroyed all people have sold their land and can no longer afford it and its overseas developers that are coming in and buying up everything.
The chemtrails ie cloud seeding have been awful this year. Wonder if that has anything to do with this
I think people are just paying more attention with all the streamers and the popularity of tornado chasing. Until the last two weeks this year was below average and really it still is probably less than last year
The fog over the city adds to the eerieness of the site. Prayers for Brasndall.

That was my thought to. Blows my mind seeing the buildings, homes made to splinters.

Irony in its purist form.
There's got to be a morning after. If we can hold on through the night.
It's likely very contaminated now. So..., not so peaceful.

Don’t drive to devastated areas. You’re in the way of emergency responders who can actually help people and you put yourself in harms way with debris, power lines, and more storms.

With the drone footage I keep looking for a bathtub in destroyed homes… we are told if no basement go to interior most of home or into your bathtub which mine fits both criteria. However. It is difficult to tell, but I did not spot one bathtub, perhaps a few are buried under rubble. Great footage, thank you for providing it to us.
The storms are now coming our way. I am quite nervous. I have already been through or very close to (within a mile) of 5 tornados in 4 states. I hate this kind of weather. 1986 went through a strong F3 in Indiana while in school. Jumped right over our school after having been on the ground for 45 miles.
Oh my praying for everyone affected.

0:48 is the real reason you should never go into a ditch or area like this where the road is. This is where a ton of stuff is being dumped. Imagine running here to get away from the tornado just to have your car land on top of you.
At some point, states need to make it a law that EVERY mobile home/RV park WILL have a certain amount of storm shelters installed based on the amount of people living there. How this isn’t a state law in Oklahoma already is shocking.
Your opinions reminds me of the saying: "should have, could have, would have" if only is too little too late by giving your advice. Why not just pray for them, why not think of donation, why not just drive there as help as you know so much. As soon as there is a donation site established I will donate, like I did for those in great need in Sulfur,. OK. I am just an almost old lady of 80 and I can pray and donate, I will. Wake up, man! and I say that lightly.

Praying for these families affected. Couple homes @1:29 @4:14 @6:25 @7:23 slabbed to the concrete. That was a major tornado. Looks like EF4 level tornado 🌪️ without question.
You forgot 1:29 where nothing if left but a clean slab (to the left of your screen)
@@thbearr Adding that time stamp. Thankyou.
I was thinking same thing… definitely high end EF3 and some spots really look like EF4. I guess just depending on how well the homes were built, will determine the EF rating.
@@JamesSmith18581 Some were mobile homes, others were not so knowing the NWS they may give this storm high end EF3. Personally I believe this was a low end EF4.
Oh my goodness, that makes me upset.i hope everyone is safe.😢😢
This just makes me want to cry for the people that lived there!!! The fact people survive through that is nothing short of miraculous. I'd venture to guess most in the midwest and tornado alley are smart enough to have underground shelters. It's mind boggling to see footage like this!
Where are they going to live now? I mean with all the illegals flooding across the open borders? Can they keep their jobs? How about the children and their school? Well school is over for this year there anyways. Wow. I guess the schools could be immediate housing for everyone. Geez what a nightmare.
Perplexing damage profile. A few spots look distinctly like high end EF4 damage, others look like High EF2 / Low EF3, then back again. Multivortex?
I just posted something similar. There are some trees snapped at head level but most are broken much higher up, consistent with EF3. The terrain may have had a significant impact on individual damage patterns here, of course in addition to individual house quality.
Yes these monster tornadoes appear to be influenced by the nexrad pulsed microwave bursts.
It was reported at a mile and a half wide at one point by police, so multivortex would make sense.
@xio3857 That's a pretty wild claim. Is there any research to support that claim? Or any proposed mechanism by which microwaves could influence the intensity of a tornado?
That's interesting 🤔
In todays economy i dunno how anyone recovers from something like this....
Americans aren’t getting any help these days.
Oh but they recover and survive. Pick up the pieces and go on. It is hard but they manage.
Absolutely heartbreaking! I pray there were no bad injuries or deaths from this Tornado.
Prayers for Barnsdall
This damage is consistent with EF-3+ Damage. There is some that could be rated higher. Depending on the build material and quality and what type of structure it was.
Good rating. I agree, high end 3 to low 4.
Hard to say, a lot of those structures looked like prefab homes/manufactured homes, and some of them didn't even have true foundations. But the tree damage definitely looks like ef3 for sure.
Looked like a lot of mobile homes. They disintegrate in an EF 1. So do pole barn and cheaper shed to house construction buildings. Doesn't look like a very large town.
Strengthening as it went through, I think; the drone is backtracking the path, and the worst damage is earliest in the video. Easy EF3 there; trees are debarked.
@@gmboy559 Yea I think you're right - the drone is going up the path

I so agree. Moving in the future I have already crossed out Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas.. but basically anywhere around or near tornado Alley. I could never handle that.
