Plenty of fertiliser for the trees, bit like the salmon that die during their breeding run in Alaska

G'day mate, yeah you can, they're up there because all the stirred up mud from the floods has taken the oxygen out of the water.

Great video mate. It’s just a shame that there is so many dead and dying Barra. I wonder if it’s affecting the fish at the barrage down stream? I remember the fish kill there a few years ago.

Thanks mate, it's all the mud stirred up by the flood water , which seems counter intuitive to have no oxygen in the water during a flood but yeah , somehow the mud depletes the water of oxygen. Yeah it's a real shame seeing all them beautiful fish dead Like that tho!

G'day mate, from WA aye ? Mate it's the oxygen, it seems counter intuitive but the floods stirring all the mud up in the river takes the oxygen out

It's such a shame that they go to waste.
Is it just the lack of oxygen in the water during run off, or are there other toxins from the land that are causing the problem.?

Nah I found out the oxygen levels drop but prob PH levels change as well
