Really fascinated by Charles's discussion of the Second Law of Thermodynamics and how it applies to business

Charles Koch inherited his father´s business. So Charles did NOT crawl up from nothing, neither did he struggle as a child!!!!!!! His success is owed to the values his father instilled in him. It is wonderful that he talks about being sent to work at age 6!!!!! I now live in Europe and it is scary to see how kids don´t do any work outside of school and then go into the world as young adults with NO workskills and no work ethic! This interview turns into liquid gold at 4:00 minutes when he really gets into the fact, that despite being well off, his father instilled a strong work ethic in him. Also, much appreciation to the interviewer who asked the right questions and then allowed Mr. Koch to speak on them.

great point about there are a lot of organizations where being open and critical of an idea or project is not celebrated because of a top down management approach to business

As one of those employees, Market Based Management (MBM) as he called it then or Principal Based Management (PBM) as we call it now is a game changer. I often lived by many of these principals via teachings I got from my grandfather but didn't have a true understanding or official recipe for them.
It's no lie that when we as employees learn and continually apply PBM, we are happier, become more productive, contribute greatly, and learn new things continually! The Koch PBM Kool Aid is very tasty! 😀

The name Koch has the same kabbalistic Code Mah Milui (744) with the name Zuzim (or Nephilim). It means that Koch may be descendant of ancient heavenly giants. (If you believe in the biblical stories. And ... Yes, he is business giant really.) Or a member of ancient very very secret organization named Nephilim. (If you believe in a conspiracy theory.) Good puzzle for numerologists. :)

I have a something I think koch industry's could help with that should be important to all humans allike it's the shortage of Albuterol need for persons to breath during sickness and some with asma or allergy's apparently the company who made it went bankrupt so now instead of a simple non abrasive nebulizer treatment hospitals are resorting to incubating patients witch is very abrasive almost always causes injury and can lead to infection the patient has to learn how to swallow again has a hard time eating and can lead to major decline as I'm my father cause..please help us all bring back Albuterol thank you

I shut him down when he conflated legal immigration with illegal immigration. That is intellectually dishonest. Perhaps for him, the flood of cheap labor is a great win, but for guys like me, it floods the market and devalues consumer expectations on pricing. Granted so much information could be gained and won here, but once he went there it was hard to listen to the rest.
