As a Chinese, I must say that I am deeply moved by Mr. Yang's speech. Not only does he have a better understanding of Chinese history and culture than most ordinary Chinese, but he is also well-versed in global affairs. I am confident that with leaders like Mr. Yang, Singapore will continue to be a remarkable small country with a bright future.

Although he once studies at Harvard in U.S. he dared to stand up and criticize the distorted and erroneous reports on China by the Western media. He is not only a true politician, but also a scholar with rich knowledge.
