You are able to go through the rocks around the Marrows, you just have to avoid bumping the ones sticking out of the water. You can also sell stale fish, they're just worth 60% of their original value, so it's often worth keeping them even if the go stale (though after a bit they go rotten and are then only worth 30%) Also, the whole sequence at 51:42 was pure gold
Remember to upgrade your boat. Dodging the sea serpent would have been much easier if you weren't using the garbage engine you start the game with. Also, don't tunnel vision on the main quest line. Make sure you're doing the side quests and extra bits otherwise you could really struggle with the later parts of the game.
I was so excited to see an episode of this from you I clicked so quick!! I love seeing you play some of these cozier games you always have the best commentary love your channel!!
Really enjoyed this series from you, I absolutely LOVED this game when it came out and I may go back to it. Worth getting speed and hull upgrades first alongside the trawl net. Great for passive income and helps navigate easier. Oh, and the waterspouts wreck you and not all shipwrecks are friendly 😉
i am soooo very happy you are playing this game, it truly is remarkable. I know you have quite a fear of things that splash in the night, so I would suggest you switch the game to Passive Mode (drop down on the pause menu at the top left) you will not miss out on anything in the game EXCEPT the Eldritch horror hallucinations at night (some of the island creatures you need for the Collector are even easier to get with Passive Mode on) I wouldn't normally suggest this for Let's Plays, but I can sense this may be too much water and scary things from the deep for you and it really is the whole deal of the game
Emma travel everywhere around each island and look for hidden areas. Beware of the night the light and the horn will help a little. I hopes this helps. And I tried to not spoil anything. Too bad you couldn't talk Amber into playing this game.
While I understand the moral opposition to over fishing in real life, it's encouraged in the game to earn currency for upgrades and the fish will respawn in the area the next day.
You're really gonna screw yourself if you keep wasting entire days that are only a few hours old. the higher your day count at the top of the screen gets, the more dangerous things become. You need to be researching and upgrading. You also need to fish at night for alot of the sidequests that reward you with research parts. It's not too bad to go almost all night if you get a better lamp.
Emma, you're a grown woman, you can't get scared at *checks notes * every eldritch horror from the depths that tries to kill you
Hahahahahahaha

22:18 "Like, get in your own boat and go look for stuff if you're that mad"

A friend emphatically recommended Dredge so I checked it out and it took me about an hour to get HOPELESSLY addicted to it. Fantastic game.

Most unrealistic thing is that Shaniqua being the shipwright. Not buying it 😆
