My wife passed away in a car accident along with my nephew after this album was released. 😢 I love this song. 💔❤️💔
God rest their souls. They always will be there. Sorry for your loss
Dear,I’m so sorr, hope you recovered
My wife passed away a couple of months ago. This song represents my life right now. So much pain.
So sorry for your loss.
Most underrated JP song my god
Hi i'm here again just to say...
Why this song wasn't popular? I mean, yeah it's from one of the most unpopular JP albums and it wasn't realized as single... but this song is just so good as Painkiller, Breaking The law or Electric Eye (or even better) and is one of the most forgotten Priest's songs, deserves more recognizement
Just enjoy it. Just because radio hasn’t ruined it isn’t a bad thing.
So damn underrated album...both: this and jugulator!!!! Great, great song!!!!
So many years that we were one
So many things we've done
The memories alive
But most of me has died
As I struggle with events
I'm offered words of strength
They do not comprehend
The passion we possessed
People tell me what to do
Tell me how I should get through
But they haven't got a clue
No one else comes close to you
I see your eyes before they closed
They looked right inside my soul
And they asked me not to grieve
I tried but still I bleed
I wake up, I break up
I try hard to shake off
The desolation as it grows
As nothing else comes close
And as I stand here by the grave
And the wind calls out your name
I know that time could never heal
The emptiness I feel
People try to give me hope
Tell me how I should let go
But they'll never really know
'Cause there's nothing else comes close
People tell me what to do
Tell me how I should get through
But they haven't got a clue
No one else comes close to you
an absolute hidden gem of a track from Judas priest
One of the most beautiful guitar solo ever! Thanks you Glenn! (2:00)
I thought both albums with Ripper are still great. Ripper didn't receive enough credit.
That's true!!!!
true
such a nice ballad, would love to hear a halford version of it.
Halford is a sucker when it comes to sing Ripper era songs. It makes no sense, it's still Judas Priest.
Give it another year or two and AI will do it for us.
Крутейшая-мощнейшая мрачная рок-баллада! Сколько лет "уношусь" по ней! Респект!Опять гоняю 1 августа 2023!
Underrated album ???
this is my all time favorite Judas pries album.
Love this incredibly underrrated song! For me it equals Before the Dawn, etc. The guitar solo is awesome and the vocal line is so pure. Do not understand how real JP fans dislike it... Ripper and JP forever!
I think you may have meant "underrated" Sir.
@@vinaymulukutla358 Sure 😂
@@karelzdenovec837 It's a great song. I think the whole of the Ripper era is underrated and many don't give it a chance.
To my Uncle Fernie who past away two weeks ago. Rest In Peace. :'(
4 mths late but sorry for your loss there.
what a great song
My best friend died a few weeks ago.....this was our favorite band. We played their songs on stage together as twin guitars for 7 years. When I lowered him into the ground the pain was unlike anything.
I can't see why this song isn't popular. Freakin' awesome. You can feel the pain.
Deepest condolences brother. 🙏🏼
This song came out when my mom & dad passed away within a month of each otheri still cry when i hear it
I can realy understand that. Have the same with some music and i miss them.
These songs are "just another one of the bunch" until someone close to you dies in front of you... :(
The most emotional and saddest song Judas Priest have ever done.
MrShadowflasher and considering it was sung by Ripper, that’s really saying something.
There is a lot of pain in this song......
Personally I think it's before the dawn or epitaph, those songs have a lot of emotional weight for me personally but this one is brilliant
I'd hold that accolade to Here Come The Tears, Night Comes Down, Heart of a Lion and Living Bad Dreams.
Very Underrated song. Solo is killing.
Solosuna aşık oldum şarkının.
Di mi be
Ulan, Türk görmek ne güzel :')
O solo ne acılar yaşatıyor be
Awesome song!!!
Great shit,... Largely underappreciated..
First time I listen to it and I'm a fan for 7 whole years.
I First Heard this album when i was 8 years old
Thanks to my uncle 😌
One of the best song of Judas
Those who talk bad about this album have never listened to this masterpiece. Ripper era wasn't bad at all
I agree! Jugulator is also one heavy album!
Wow I’m 40 now . Back then I heard this song was when I was 18 or 19 years w
Awesome! Ripper Rules!
great song
This is the ultimate break up song.
Taylor Swift wakes up every morning wishing she could write stuff like this one
Piereio Zashier Yes! I got friend zoned a few months ago and I found this song 2 months ago and I feel It.
awesome song :D
Thanks a lot, Ripper
Yes, hands down to Ripper!
This is fucking GREAT!I had no idea this album was any good.
hermoso
Solo. Love
My... what a song...
Don't forget "Wasting Love."
Hell yeah, I thought there's nobody out there anymore loving that song.
Wastin' love is shit compared to this.
@@msu-bd8od no u
Best ripper album. Jugulator had 1 good song. This one had like 4 good ones. Nobody could have had success replacing Halford. The mans a god.
Infinite Dreams!
Up the irons!
sad... ! but amazing !
Absolutely sensational. I don't even know what you would classify this as. Would it be a ballad?
A Priest' gem.
This song goes out to my ex who is now my “friend”.
The intro reminds me of Hammerfall. This song is whehre they got they inspiration from.
Yes they do. Blood Brothers, The Evil That Men Do, Strange World, Paschendale (a little long and heavy but still of ballad nature), Dream of Mirrors, Brave New World...
Love this album. Their best after Painkiller.
Awesome
whatta song .. maybe underrated
This one makes me die happily:-)
Melted with horns in hand \m/
Bruce Dickinson and Maiden have played songs from the Bayley era.
Тhe best Judas Priest ballad since 1978.....
@AntiCookieMonster Hahaha... very good dude!
The saddest metal song ever, and one of the saddest song of all time, too sad, just perfect! God, I cry every time I hear this, what a lyrics, what a music. The greatest JP song!
" the memories is alive" I have cassette "Demolition"
Solo is very similar to solo on "Prisoner of your eyes".
I agree... But the guitar tone here sounds way better. I'd say that the tune they used back then (on prisoner's solo) messed it up
@HHL1967 thats why its a good song
...and that's exactly 4 Jelena....✌👍
@icedone08 halford rules! rippers ok
Both of them rule!
Don't forget Scorpions, my friend
83. John j Hernandez. .
Journeyman... Your choice if the song of iron maiden or the one of Bruce Dickinson's solo album. Different songs, but both are really good slower songs
2020?
2021 ;)
what !? ripper this song written by glenn tipton to his wife
@hermygagala yeah i guess so lol
[2:02-...]
Too many slow and somber songs during the ripper years other than that, he is a really good singer. Just wish more of the material was better.
@NRXXIII they are so different i don't see either of them attempting.
Халфорд найкращий
.
@NRXXIII Easily, even when he was 50
This album is 10 times better than jugulator. So, demolition really sucks - fairly sucks. It’s not the greatest
The song was actually inspired by Glenn Tipton's divorce from his wife of many years.
How do you kow that?
@@michaelking4391 It was mentioned somewhere in an article. I've been trying to find it since but I can't.
I'm pretty sure it was about his wife death actually... At least I've been living all these years with this in mind. Plus, if you read the lyrics, it gets a lot more sense.
I said the song was inspired by his divorce from his wife, I never said it was about the death of his wife. To the best of my knowledge, nothing happened to his wife, they just got divorced. He must have written it about a guy who loses his partner to death to express the pain and sadness of his divorce.
@@vinaymulukutla358 I know you did say anything about it, I said it myself. May be I did get it back then, who knows.
Сила.❤ Слава Україні❤.
Let's face it, Jugulator is shit! But Demolition has some really nice songs.
Yeah I only liked the first two songs off of Jugulator. This album though was really nice.
Jugulator (title track), Blood Stained, Death Row, Burn In Hell, Bullet Train, and Cathedral Spires are all masterpieces. How can anyone call them shit?
AverageSavage425 dude yes. If it weren't for the title track i would've never got my buddy into that genre of metal.
Let's face it, just priest made a lot of crap albums and songs during their career, but these two albums belong to the better half of their work. But I know many hardcore Rob Fans have a little trouble to accept that 😉
@@Trout636 Only shitheads can call them “shit”, but I personally call them masterpieces!
no Halford? Sorry this is not Priest
take your head out of you your ass and shut up. Its not Halford but its not bad either
I understand but It's great album and Ripper is great too.
So what? Ripper is almost as great, if not better. I still like Halfords voice though.
fuck off then...
Yea I mean I guess to hell with Glenn, kk, Travis, and ian. This album is absolutely priest, just a different era of them

Love this so much. Judas Priest/KK's Priest should play this live imo.
No other heavy metal band wrote such great ballads! Not even Maiden.
Wasting Love?
@@vinaymulukutla358 Nah.
@@BozJustBad I love that song but I believe you are very correct.
Iron Maiden has almost no ballads
This is the best song ever!!!!!
Muy Buena canción!!
Calm down...
You and me both brother most of me has died.
Sounds like Prince is singing!!!
