People who bully the likes of Faryal are jealous of who she is & she’s living a life where a lot of people wish they could. Basically, down to jealousy. People also - especially from Pakistan - who are more inclined to their hardcore culture & the religion don’t or will not adapt to a ever changing world.
“You shouldn’t be open”, “ you shouldn’t wear this or that”, “you cannot be yourself”, “you cannot be a Muslim if you’re not confining to the ludicrous cultural/religious norms”.
Prime examples of the backward thinking mentality of Pakistan. Not all people in Pakistan are like that but the majority are who just shove religion & culture in faces of people who live life according to their rules & balance out with religion & culture.

Your paraphrasing of "you can't be muslim if you're not confining to the ludicrous cultural / religious norms" doesn't make sense. most people will tell you a person practising a religion *should* be following their religious norms. because that is the expectation of a person practising a religion.
we can't judge others and say this person is not muslim because of what we know of them, but equally we can't be ignorant to their ways and say it is acceptable as a muslim to present yourself in such a way, in the public eye, while claiming to be muslim.
so far i have only seen muslim supporters, not a lot of muslims commenting negatively about her lifestyle and public personality. i havent seen muslims comment about her not being muslim or not being a good muslim. maybe you have but i have only seen muslim supporters saying "ma'shallah". personally, i think that comment was irrelevant.
It is true, she has become westernised. It's not backward thinking, it's not an insult. If you wish to take it that way you can. She is a wealthy pakistani living in a western society. It's quite obvious she's went one way. You're clearly triggered and ignorant to something that is quite blatant and obvious. If most pakistanis, of the pakistani culture and nation, are saying she is not as cultured as your average pakistani, then surely it must mean something? Sounds to me like you're in denial.
I don't see many people shoving religion and culture in her face. People are shoving her husbands career, past and lifestyle in her face more than anything else. And she is the one who claims this herself. If religion and culture was an issue for her I'm sure that would be what is advertised and shown more in these videos and episodes than her marital issues. Moretime she's just trying to prove that her relationship with her husband is on the mend and get people to back off from commenting about it.
