- India's mobile-based payment system, UPI, allows customers to make instant payments at any time of the day. Did you know that this is far from the case in the United States?
In this video, I have attempted to explain some basic differences between why the UPI system is so smooth in India as compared to America, where because the banking system predates the digital era, and the system works well enough, there is no need to fix anything. Specials thanks to my cousin Greg Chen for his inputs on the matter.

The map of India shown at 4:35 has parts of Kashmir and Ladakh cut off, that's the official map used outside India. We Indians have grown up seeing a little different map of India. Otherwise, great info Jamie bhai!!!
i think his editor used that map accidentally because i dont think he have that much time to edit his videos

Disagree with few things 2:52 so many western countries have RTGS thats correct but in their system you have to activate sender - receiver accounts once this will take 2-3 days once both the accounts are linked then the futures transactions are almost instant. But our UPI system is much easy and faster no doubt :)
