Erica fell out of love with Scrappy maybe even long before,. They both just came to realize, they both loved each other, but they weren't in love with each other. They were just not meant to be, and they both agreed that it was okay.

It was mentioned before that she had trauma growing up with her mother and scrappy was always saying she was "detached* emotionally, which I could see. Her character is really strong though, and she had his child. She wanted to make it work out because she was in love with him and would have rather tried with him then move out of her comfort zone and build a healthy relationship with someone else. Hopefully they have both healed from their trauma.

Mama D hand a big hand in ruining the relationship between Scrappy and Erica.... and both their stubborn ways. Scrappy did too much lying and keeping girls on the sideline. The blow up at the table... Whew. Erica was hurt and prideful... Stubbornness got in the way and in the end there was too much that happened between them for them to heal and move on together.
