      Great observation. It’s because he’s genuinely interested in what the interviewee is saying and the key to being a good interviewer is to ask questions, but people forget to listenZ it’s not an interview it’s a conversation.
      As you said, he’s SO good at it

      @timothycormier3494 6 дней назад +2

      Hahaha I remember my sons playing against some of those Boston teams. Hyde park, Everette, East Boston. Hyde park ran that same RPO in every age group from D squad pop warner to high school varsity and even a team of middle sized white kids from Franklin could sniff it out and beat them. But those East Boston and Everett teams were just so good and BIG and talented. At the youth level Everett just recruited from all around the city and would assemble a team that would represent the north east in Disney every single year. My middle son played a south Boston team in 8th grade….”A”squad/ unlimited. They were a team of kids and families who didn’t have the means to travel. Their field was at the housing project that they all lived at. They were a team of some of the biggest and fastest 8th graders I’ve ever seen in my life. They beat the bag out of us!😂! But my son hit their best player on a solo tackle and knocked him out of the game for a few minutes and then my son caught a long pass on that same kid and scored our only touchdown in the game. I got elected to go over to their sideline and do the book. If you’ve ever been involved with youth football. You know what “the book” is. Keeping track of MPR and such. But none of the white yuppie liberal parents in Franklin would go over to their sidelines because they were scared😂😂. I remember grabbing the clipboard and the book and shaking my head at the other parents in disbelief at how ridiculous the reaction was. Most of those football teams that are all city boys are usually tough kids.

I love hearing the stories about what actually went on in that building. The things that it took to put a team on the field that turned us from the absolute laughingstock of the league into the absolute standard for every other team in the league to live up to. There’s a lot more than just 22 positions on a football field. The behind the scenes stuff is what I love. 1:55:00 The stories of Pranks are gold! Chris and Chivo need to watch this. Can we please get images of the COACHES TAPE of the Superbowl? We want to see that Mascot moment.

    Great episode! There is one game that I was hoping you guys get around to and you would probably need two players for it because of everything that happened at the time the 2001 world series

    Epic podcast. Love the insight of all of this. Love the Lion story. Stuff everybody needs to hear more of! Edelnut might be the next coach in the league. Get him and Gronk on Wr and Te!

    As a football junkie nothing is better than hearing war stories from NE. They kept everything so secret.

    Yeah I know it’s just a sports podcast but Edelman is really good at interviewing guests. Great follow up questions about conversations.

    I was in that endzone when Cutcliffe pushed that wide left. Ball was coming straight at me and just went left. Fucking love it!
