So, uh... fun fact: part of YTTD's main theme was actually first used by Griffin McElroy, one of the brothers from MBMBAM who made this for a Dungeons and Dragons roleplay game they did with their father called The Adventure Zone.
The beginning of YTTD's main theme starts at 47 seconds in the Round Two track of TAZ.
There's some of the same tune in The Purple Worm from the 11th Hour arc too!

But isn't the idea what matters most? Isn't the composition itself original?
IMO the music medium does not matter so long as it sounds wonderful (this song is great) and the idea is original (I don't think the composer has borrowed from anywhere, so it's still original) if we judge based off of medium, we have the potential to miss out on a lot of cool tracks that came from "bad" mediums.
Christian I wish there were a way to better clarify what I'm talking about but,, in essence, the loops are all premade melodies and beats and stuff. This is basically just a mash-up of existing music. GarageBand as a medium is fine. Trust me, as a music composition major, I know all about unconventional mediums (and GarageBand isn't one), and I think composing outside the box is great, but nothing about this soundtrack is "original" except the combination of already-written music fragments.
i still think its amazing that they made such a bop ost just from garageband loops because i cant do shit with that HAHAH

I'm super sad and pissed at the same time because I deleted my browser data for space on my computer, and then I realised that my game data was saved to my browser data (i play using my browser) and now I have to replay the whole game and even the sad parts

@@nikkistudio... No. You only get to continue your saved game, atleast when you are playing on browser. When you delete your browser data, it deletes all your saved files too.
@@woofi7269 oh umm, that's weird. I didn't play the first 2 chapters and just skipped straight to chapter 3 (i'm playing on browser too so that's strange-)

Genuinely curious: Who did you guys choose to kill at the end of chapter 2?
Sou. Most of the times I keep the entertaining characters and the ones with better development to live but I couldn't, I just hated him.
i wanted to keep sou because it was clear that plot-wise, he was more important but my friend (who was ahead of me) chose kanna to die and wanted to see what would happen if i chose Kanna or Nao to live. So, i saved before choosing and chose each person.
If you choose Nao, you get one of the endings, which I won't say.
If you choose Kanna (to live), you get a completely different "ending" (of chapter 2) than if you choose Sou. You also get a special scene at the end of chapter 2 that you wouldn't have seen if you chose Sou to live. I ended up keeping my choice of having Kanna to live because I much preferred that "ending".
I will not say what happens but I definitely recommend you to do what I did if you can: save first and try out each option. It's so cool!
I wanted to keep Shin alive since I truly felt bad for him and wanted to give him a chance to redeem himself, plus Kanna wanted to die. Buuuuut, I killed Shin because of the ending. THAT ENDING. OMG IT BROUGHT ME TO TEARS LIKE. I NEEDED TO SEE JOE ONE LAST TIME OK LEAVE ME ALONE-
Kanna, because I couldn't abandon my logic and so I chose the logic route. Kanna makes sense logically because she's already prepared to die. She wants to see her sister and she wants Sou to live on. Sou still wants to live, desperately so. And logic wise, he's more useful than Kanna. I love both Sou and Kanna equally. So as much as I love Kanna, I couldn't abandon my logic to my emotions and thus killed Kanna instead.

Yeap! This song and Wonderland Round 2 use the same loops from Garageband, so that's why both songs have the kinda same sound? Although I personally like Wonderland Round 2 a bit more, cuz I think Griffin makes it be more coherent with the rest of the song, meanwhile I think the change in sound on this is like, kinda blunt?
It goes from calm to WHOA WHAT THE FUCK in like, one (1) second, and not in a particularly good way, I don't think. It still fits YTTD very well tho, I just hope there was more work put into it.

After the results of the first main game, I honestly want to take a break from it. Not only did one of the characters I really wanted to see develop get voted off, I was *highly* distressed with the button-mash minigame, as well as Sara's nightmare and hallucination. Especially because I related Sara and Joe to me and a close friend of mine.
