For that MAC lipstick where you just love the packaging, but hate the colour inside... do a bullet swap from a lipstick you do like where the packaging is simply "meh". It's pretty easy to do! :)

I started decluttering about a year ago and I'm still working on using it up and giving stuff away. My family and friends used most of the stuff and the rest went to a women's shelter. Love having a smaller collection now. I enjoy all of my products now. Great job 😀👍🏻

it's crazy how much space lipstick takes up. I like when lipstick has a clear lid so it's easier to choose one. I will be de-potting mine soon into a 35 well palette.

Lol, everyone who does these never puts them straight in the bin if they are perfectly fine and not expired. Women donation places only accept brand new as far as I'm aware.

I feel like one drawer should be colors you wear often, and another drawer for seasonal or Halloween colors. Or maybe trays sorted by color.

I'm glad you're not afraid to throw out old lipsticks. Who would want lipsticks that are 3-5yrs old?? That's gross.
I've been getting rid of makeup too. I've found that lipsticks are the hardest for me. Eye shadows, blushes, and mascaras were fairly easy. Nail polish is difficult for me too. :(
Considering the volume in your collection (which I'm so jealous of BTW) and from an organisation point of view, have you thought of investing in some more solid or purpose build drawer inserts??? For example like those sold by "Sonny Cosmetics" or something similar???

Ich hab lippenstifte die 10 jahre alt sind und die sehen noch genau gleich aus und riechen genau so wie am anfang und ich benutze die fast täglich und hatte noch nie ein Problem. Kein bisschen

Ok, ich habe vielleicht nur 10-15 Lippenstifte und nicht so viele wie du. Aber trotzdem muss ich mich zusammenreißen nicht noch mehr zu kaufen. Vor allem weil die Farbe immer sehr ähnlich ist. Ich probiere dafür aber gerne neue Produkte aus also wenn der Lippenstift auf besondere Weise aufgetragen wird oder matt sein soll^^
Schimmer/Glitzer geht gar nicht für mich und ein glänzendes Finish mag ich eigentlich auch nicht so sehr
have you ever thought of melting shades together that you would actually enjoy? it would be something no one else has. and they sell lipstick molds.
Die Trend it up Lippenstifte sind echt gut, solltest du unbedingt mal ausprobieren wenn du mal zu dm kommst 😊

I'm in the same boat with Viva Glam Ariana Grande. It's so patchy but such a pretty colour so I don't want to toss it yet. Also I haaaate the smell of L'Oreal lipsticks! Musk is the worst scent.

actually it's very easy to sanitize used lipsticks.... makeup artists do it all the time.
She's mentioned before that she will never give her used makeup to viewers. Anything that's used or she doesn't want she gives to family & friends.

Kannst du einen Lippenstift empfehlen, der wirklich lange hält, in Deutschland erhältlich ist und nicht gleich mehr als 20Euro kostet?
Ich hab einen pinken Lippenstift von P2, der lange hält. Aber er wurde inzwischen ausgesondert. Ansonsten: 2-Phasen-produkte (Flüssig-Lippenstift und Pflege) sind gut oder du nutzt einen Liptint als Basis und trägst den Lippenstift darüber auf. Farbwechsel-Lippenstifte hinterlassen oft einen krassen Stain - auch wenn die Fettschicht weg ist, sieht man die Farbe noch. Einfach durchprobieren :-)
Yve loves Die Lippenstifte von Alverde halten ziemlich gut, haben aber eine kleinere Farbauswahl. Urban Decay, diese halten Stunden und liegen dann bei Deinem Limit. LG
you can back Old lipsticks to MAC?
amina foudili Yes. Apparently you get a free lipstick if you bring your old ones in back to MAC (it has to be their brand).
I'm just now starting my makeup collection and so far I have 20 lipsticks and there really cheap I'd you can respond and tell me expensive brands that will help me alot

I don't understand people saying that. In these decluttering videos all the girls I've seen pass them on to family and friends or donate them. It's more of a waste for them to sit in her drawer than for her to give it to someone who will use it. As far as the expired ones at least she's getting her stash down to a more reasonable level and makeup is the youtubers job so it happens. Love these videos💜💜
