I just don't understand why the guardianship/conservatorship isn't transferred to her sister ( who is a lawyer)?
I know two sisters who are trying to be guardians for their mother, and it has been an absolute struggle. Their mother is a heavy drinker much like Wendy, and she has a boyfriend who is getting her liquor and deep in her pockets. It's maddening and sad.
Lol, money is something else. How rich is her sister for her to be able to have access to Wendy wealth?
Wendy is probably saying she is well enough not to need guardianship as she wants the existing one released.
It seems as though she needs a Power of Attorney (chosen) for the sisters.... But Idk how that works along with a financial guardianship (appointed)...

That’s a lie! Wendy knew everything that man was doing she only drew the line once the woman became pregnant. Wendy didn’t have friends because of Wendy because she didn’t have any before him. Divorcing that man was the worst decision she made! Yea he cheated but she still loved him, he kept her clean and protected.
Wendy has a guardianship and they have total control over who she sees, her money etc. They keep her away from her sister , son and the rest of her family. The exploiter gets exploited…sad.

Her decline is a mixture of her husband and mistress taking her money, hey health, drugs and alcohol relapses and losing her mom.

Wendy’s declined is due to her not leaving Kelvin at the right time. She already had issues with drugs and addiction she should have gotten rid of that loser sooner. To protect herself from triggers and stress. I pity her, this is so sad

I don't think she's really letting that get to her as much as her losing access to her money. She has way more than she lost plus is capable of striking new deals. She may be 59 which in Hollywood is bad because they start shitting on some people but she does still have a ton of fans and businesses that do love and will support her through this so she can start again; maybe not have as much as what's she's being kept away from but it's never too late to start over. she's in a better place to make millions and with multiple streams of income unlike the majority who are struggling. She's actually doing way better than most.
Is she able to approve a documentary? If she’s not able to approve, taking money at our own check, how can she approve a documentary about what’s going on with her?
That is the questionable part about this!
The conservatorship specifically stated that it was only related to financial transactions. Even with that specification, she is able to do things, they would just ve subject to approval and potential veto by the financial advisor. It was not a global conservatorship like Britney Spears, where they had control over all personal and professional matters.
@Kempire Per the terms of the conservatorship, her ability to conduct her business affairs was not effected. It was purely financial. While it is easy to see where those things might be mixed, as long as she is making money, not spending it, the conservator would theoretically have no cause to try to stop anything. Plus, she still has lawyers and management. (By the way, I am one of you attorney viewers.)
This is terribly sad. There is clearly a lot going on and she’s not in her right mind. I really hope that the people around her are looking out for her and not just taking advantage 😢
I feel like her people shouldn't approve of this documentary if it's not putting her in a good light. If she's not in the process of being well, why put a camera in her face? What's the Point? I hope she gets better, hopefully this isn't a clone 🙏🏽
Since Wendy lost her mother, she's been on a decline . Her mother was her rock; her cheerleader. I remember one show she'd talked about talking to her mom in a dream😢. Prayers 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Her sister would never take advantage of her. Her mom passing, and also the deception broke her.
@khadmuh Wells Fargo is not the guardian. WF is responsible and went to court, the courts then appointed a financial guardian.
At least they were looking out for her best interest

Wendy reminds me of my grandmother who was a severe alcoholic. She has water on the brain. That is what happens to the brain of a severe alcohol. My grandmother couldn't walk, people took her money and her things. In the end, she had alcoholic dementia . My grandmother only stopped drinking because she forgot she was an alcoholic from the dementia.

I think this documentary was done to fulfill Wendy's contracutal obligations with Lifetime. I remember her saying when her Lifetime Biopic movie and documentary aired in 2021, that she had more projects coming with Lifetime.

it sounds like the manager and guardian of her dinero are in cahoots... if i were wendy's son... i would call up some of Wendy's star "friends" and ask them for help as far as getting high-powered lawyers, or private investigators to get to the bottom of what the manager and the guardian are up to and then get them out of the picture! also by the way.. i have the same situation as Wendy's son. I am an only child, my parents are divorced, and neither of them ever got re-married or had more kids.. so....i automatically as the only child inherit the responsibility of handling their finances as they get older etc.... all of Wendy's finances should have automatically fallen into her son hand's. so someone intentionally made it so that wouldn't happen.. I can't believe Wendy was that stupid as to not have an iron clad will or set up spelling out exactly how she wanted her finances handled should she not be able to handle them herself at some point...

I will always and forever love me some Wendy DOWN..... she was like a friend when I was a 20 yo SAHM to twins, dealing with addiction myself and mourning the loss of both my grandma's I lost while pregnant. That one hour got me thru some dayssss!!! I was even doing her Wendy question game everyday to win that 1000 bucks lol Now I'm sober, my twin girls are doing amazing, and I'm back to work and been in the medical field now for almost 6 years. I want Wendy to win too, my fellow cancer!!! I am always praying for my boo
