Karina in straight hair hits different.. It's just her hairstyle, she can pull off any outfits. Her stage presentation is the best in the group, she is very natural in what she does, doesn't exaggerate. I don't understand why she is not considered as such a good performer in a group, because she deserves it. Her performances never disappoint, she was never weak in energy, and she was never underdance. Her vocals and rap are on fire. So far I think she is ace of aces.
I think it's her facial expression - she often has a blank/expressionless or serious face, so sometimes she looks as if she doesn't really enjoy the performance (probably just a resting b face like so many of us have). She is still a rookie though, she will learn with each comeback and each monitoring what to improve, so I am sure she will get more recognition soon.
