By the way: When already breaking right into Hector's abode, you could've gotten your 'Lock Picking' skill from him. 😅
Great video. I actually like this start better than the one where you 'buy' your way into level 20 fast. Of course they could be combined. My next step would be grabbing the shotgun to use until you can get the best shotgun on top of the tallest tower. That weapon is so good, I don't need anything else to fight anything I've met so far. Lower level plain shotgun is way OP, and the best shotgun is WAY Over Powered.
Thank you! Ya, I want to try and cover a wide range of content with my channel. Because everyone’s different, some players love glitches and exploits, and some love enjoying the game as intended. I’m a bit of both personally, so I think that’ll really help me with delivering some strong content that will appeal to almost everyone. - I haven’t tried shot guns yet, I think I’ll have to though! I keep hearing about how good they are
@@LegendaryCarry did try it with exploits and it takes the fun out of it. now going to start a new run and focus on 2h and parry. Want to just rush the shades, as it's a pain to always scour for items.
@@Cri354 that sounds awesome. I actually really like the parry system in this game. It’s very challenging at first, so it makes landing them so much more rewarding
Great video, very helpful, thanks a lot! 😀👍 Having really enjoyed the first game, I'll be honest, was slightly disappointed with the second to start. Felt it had a graphical downgrade - baffles me as the wealth of content in game doesn't suggest lazyness. However, stuck with it, and underneath the glitches is a well told story and evolution of the superbly conceived Magalan. 15 hours in before I watched your guide. Found some items already and a few which I know I'll go straight for in my next playthrough. Cheers again. 👍
Thank you for the comment! I actually shared a lot of the same feels when I started Elex 2. But I pushed through it and ended up really loving it, the enhanced jet pack is my favourite feature they added
First off, your videos have been very helpful. It would be impossible for me to state how much I appreciate the time and effort you put into making them. Especially the one where you mapped out the location of 50 fuels. A video that became necessary after they seem to have patched all of your mentioned glitches out of the game. I almost have to wonder if Piranha Bytes is one of your subscribers, lol. That aside, I have just one tiny gripe with this video. It doesn't tell me where/how to get hand grenades in the early game so you can blow up the one dude. I also wouldn't mind if you had any tips for how to get your stats to the needed levels as you gave us a good start, but didn't quite get us there to where we could use any of these methods by the end of this video. The game is probably more simply than it seems but to someone who has never played any Elex before, it seems complicated. Anyway, thank you again man. You're amazing at what you do and I hope you keep enjoying it and keep doing it.
Hey thanks man! That’s a good note regarding the grenades, I did forget to show where I got them from. If you check out my video discussing how to level up fast by farming Elex drinks, at the 3minute 15second mark I show you the travelling outlaw merchant that sells them. For the stats, I could certainly look at making a video for a fast way to gain attribute points. I did purposely choose to not build into any single weapon, so the viewers could ultimately decide on what play style they preferred (A Ranged, Constitution or Dexterity build). I would personally recommend the Seeker bow, you can use it I think as early as level 4 or 5 with the help of those modifiers and specializers. - I really appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback, I will keep these in mind so I can better my future videos :)
O_O I had NO idea you could equip an item, learn the skill, unequip the item and still have the skill. I feel like I wasted attribute points... Only level 12, and didn't spend the last three levels worth but still. Thanks a TON for this.
I love it. The game is awesome in terms of labirynth of items you should collect to get the most out of it and I wonder @LegendaryCarry, if you are the one that find these niuanses or do you sometimes support yourself with findings of other people?
I appreciate your efforts, bit it's a nightmare following you're guide. You do too many jumpcuts. Just show an icon on the map, without fucjing around with the cursor
Hey, my apologies. That’s the very start of the game. When you open your map, look at the teleport called “West Carakis World Heart”, that should be the first teleport you unlock. From there, if you look down just a short distance from that teleporter, you’ll see the large skyant base that dropped onto Jax’s house in the opening cut-scene. The teleporter in front of the base is called “Deltara”. On your map from that teleport, you go directly to the right a little bit where there’s two buildings and a hollow circle building sitting on the right side of the path. Hopefully those are clear enough to find the dexterity potion. Use the sunglasses to see the items through walls too
@@theglowyoungbruceleeroysun1486 no worries, I also just realized on a much newer video of mine (item walk through to make unlimited money), I collect that exact potion at the 3 minute mark and show where I am on the map. If you need the visual :)
The dome ruins took me forever to do . Final put on story mode. I wish of thought of it 2 hours ago. Only had 4 grenades .Where is a good place to buy. Grenades.?
11:10 I can't lock pick it. imo the worst lock-picking design ever IMO, is there a cheat or good tutorial for it? "Begin the lock picking process by finding the two side-by-side pins that stay up. In order to find these pins, you need to either go left to right through the lock or right to left from the far end. If they all drop, then your pick will likely break, and you must start the pattern all over again from the two pins "
I JUST FOUND THIS GAME I REALLY LIKE IT!!! THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME STAY ALIVE!!!!!
You’re very welcome! That’s awesome to still see new players getting into Elex. I hope to return to it soon to make more content
