GAREGIN NJDEH

Garegin Njdeh or Garegin Ter-Harutiunian was an Armenian statesman, fedayee, political thinker, and as a member of the A.R.F. Dashnaktsutyun party, was involved in revolutionary activities in Armenia, Bulgaria and Russia.
Njdeh is one of the exceptional figures in our history, who was not just a military figure, but also thinker, statesman. He was the man who used always to create and is one of the Greatest Sons of Armenian Nation.
Being staff officer, in the years of the Democratic Republic of Armenia existence he took active participation in the process of Homeland protection. He played a key role in organizing the defense of Karakilisa in 1918 and was awarded the supreme Medal for Bravery. In 1920, not taking into consideration the order of the ARF Government, he declared the independence of the Republic of the Mountainous Armenia and struggled against the 11th Red Army. After the triumph of the Bolshevik Red Army and the establishment of Soviet Rule in Armenia he moved abroad and was involved in revolutionary activities in Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria and United States.
He visited the United States and Canada, encouraging Armenian communities that had established themselves there, and founded an Armenian Youth movement called Tseghakron. In 1933, this movement led to the foundation of the Armenian Youth Federation, the youth organization of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, in Boston, Massachusetts.
In 1944, Garegin Njdeh was arrested by the soldiers of Stalin's "SMERSH" special brigade in Bulgaria. He died in a Soviet prison in Vladimir on 21.12.1955.

Уже доказано, что первым, кто занимается насаждением гомосексуализма в армии Армении, является сам Сейран Оганян. Однако спешу не согласиться, эти традиции начались еще со времен Андраника и Гарагена Нжде. Aндраника Озаняна прозвали "мадмезуаль Андраник" после того как был установлен факт его связи с двумя молодыми греками в Истамбуле, в отеле "Лодос".Более того 1885 году, тот самый Андраник имел связь непосредственно с полевым командиром Серобом, они вместе провели ночь. Чтобы эти отношения не всплыли наружу, были расстреляны 4 армянских охранника, невольно оказавшиеся очевидцами этих отношений.А проказы Гарегина Нжде были известны даже самому Льву Троцкому. "Товарищ Нжде, переоделся в женскую одежду, и просил двух пленных тюрков совершить над ним насилие" - цитирует Лев Троцкий.
