Dear friends this video came out as a result of a recent trip to Sri Bhagwan Ramana Maharshi's Ashram at Tiruvannamalai, TN, India. Bhagwan is a recent Sage who taught the direct path of Self Inquiry to know your true Self. This path is so simple, direct and leads one to get established in Self that true spiritual seekers from all over the world are slowly moving towards it. Ripe souls from various paths with mere contemplation for a short time are getting established in their true Self. It's all by His grace, Bhagwan Sri Ramana Maharshi. This is a beautiful place with very high spiritual energy where Sages, Yogis, and Siddhas have meditated from ancient times in foothills of Arunachala, the embodiment of Shiva, the universal absolute consciousness. Om namobhagavathe shri ramanaya nameh. I had an occasion for a trip to shri Ramanashram. I am 80 years old and had knee pain and also LS pain right side. Even then, i could climb Thiruvanamalai and had darshan Skandashram cave and also Virupaksha cave by the blessings of Bhagwan. The ashram and its whole areas are being maintained in a disciplined way. I also sat in the meditation hall for 1 hour. Needless to say i had a divine experience throughout my trip in Ramanashram.

Take a taxi from Chennai to Tiruvanamalai

From Chennai Airport, take a cab to CMBT bus stop (~20 mins.), there u can find regular State Bus Service to Thiruvannamalai (last stop). Travel time is around 4 hrs and fare is very nominal. And at last, from Thiruvannamalai Bus Stop u can easily get an auto for Ramana Ashrama (~4 kms).

Help me understand Ramana Maharshi never worshipped shivlinga or any idol after realisation what's the point now? Why going against his teaching of meditation?
After realization he went to Arunachaleswar temple and hugged a lingam there, if we have to talk about Bhagwan and idol worship then we should understand Bhagwan said if we think we are a body then for that time idol worship is ok. It can make mind one pointed. He never taught meditation his sadhana was atma vichara.
