YK tend to look at things positively in all accounts. First he had to rap instead of sing. Then, he had to switch his guitar for bass. But being a talented man that he is, he took the challenge, conquered it & in the end made sure he loved it 😘
Agreed! The challenge made him super versatile because he can do everything (wondering if he is learning to drum....) and do it well. He’s amazingly talented, and humble, well spoken, good looking......
Grunt Hog not sure abt drums, but he plays the keyboards (check out their cover of Crush) & speaks Japanese really well. He's also a good student, dancer & writes fr other artistes & as well an impromptu translator fr his friends 😆. It's b'cos of his knee injury that he didn't debut with Got7 - & I thank that knee everyday 😄
Grunt Hog yes! he played the drums at one concert for a moment(and i'm sure he can play even better than he did) apart from the guitar, piano/keys/synth, saxophone, played violin for 4 years, recorder, shaker, tambourine xD I wonder if he can play more instruments 😂 But seriously this man, like the other members said, really can do anything he proposes to do! sighs, it's so inspiring and I admire him a lot 😦😣💕

In 'Like That Sun', the bass really adds that fullness and brings so much flavor and color to the song! It's still one of my favorite songs till this day!

brian and i started playing bass for similar reasons hdksk My friend messaged me one morning a couple years ago out of the blue saying "lets start a band. Can you be the vocalist?" At first i said sure but after about a week of looking, we had found a drummer and my friend who messaged me was an amazing guitarist but we still didnt have a bassist, so i picked up bass and taught myself while trying to be a vocalist (it wasnt easy to do both at the same time so i gave up my spot as vocals). So like brian, i only started bass for the sake of my band. Brian saying this caught me off-guard because brian has been an amazing bassist since debut and it kinda made me think about how much he mustve practiced
ayesha davis he played guitar since middle school. At first in JYP band he still played guitar. But after Jae joined Brain had to switch to bass. He joked a lot how Jae stolen his position as guitarist. You can watch his radio episode with jae on vlive ( I think is subbed on RUclips) when he talks about learning I want you back in a week or something and having blisters on fingers because of that. He studied it very intensive at the beginning :).

처음엔 아니었지만 갈수록 베이스에 빠져드는 모습이 좋다ㅠㅠ 영케이 말대로 노래의 빈틈들을 채우고 공간을 채우는게 베이스의 정말 큰 매력인 것 같아요 원래도 베이스에 관심있었지만 오빠 덕분에 더 알고 싶어져요
멤버들 다 인터뷰 내내 악기 계속 만지작 거리고 친구라고 여기는걸 보면 얼마나 그 일을 좋아하는지 또 애정을 갖고 있는지가 느껴진다
