In the textbooks it doesn't say he was inlove with her, he already had a wife. He just really needed her services. Also he was so addament on doctors using this antiseptic of scrubbing your hands with bleach he would tell every pregnant woman to the point his own wife put him in a mental institute and he died of an infection in the hand after scrubbing so much they had cuts and that got infected
