Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and resources! I'm a librarian who works in a city with a significant Jewish population, and this information will help me better assist my patrons.
Thank you very much for sharing this information. I have learned a lot and hope to continue my research in finding my family’s history. Thanks from the land of Israel
Thanks so much to both of you for this extremely informational and for me relevant podcast!! I want to start researching both the history of the family and if possible step-family of my long-deceased father, who immigrated to the US from Poland, and to try to get more details on what happened to his mother (quite sure she perished at Auschwitz and was imprisoned in the Warsaw Ghetto at some point, but don't know any of the details) and if possible also his step-family in the Holocaust. Ellen, you've given me what look like excellent starting points for both efforts, and Lisa, I greatly appreciate your hosting Ellen and your excellent questions.
Very interesting video. Geni was very good for finding my direct ancestors from Eastern and Central Europe. I even found a direct ancestor from Spain who went to Greece. I found Eastern Sephardic direct ancestors from Greece, who went to Poland.
