I always watch the loop of line from rod tip to water to move which I why I guess I’m not successful or have confidence in buzzer fishing? By the time the loop has moved the fish will have rejected the fly? So, I’ll try this approach and hopefully improve my buzzer fishing results?
Watching the loop at the rod tip is a great way of seeing takes but it requires calm water or best used when on a boat and sitting at a lower level . Also best when fishing at closer range like on a boat . The further away you fish the slower the reaction time to the take . When you have the advantage of height the tip of the fly line becomes a superb bite detector ! Stick with it
This is the wychwwood rocket floater . Been my go to floater for years now . You must have a floating line with a good amount of stretch in it to cushion the takes for these methods . Non stretch floaters are a no no for nearly all fishing !
Definitely , especially under the indicator . Bigger black patterns with a hotspot or bright cheeks are deadly , as are red bloodworm buzzer patterns and pink can work very well in clear water ... well worth a go .
No mate .. That would make it a washing line . This was 3 straight buzzers hence the term Straight line . Anything that add buoyancy to the cast i.e. a booby or a FAB makes it a washing line . Thanks for watching .
Great vid.

Great video well done.
Thank you very much!
hello tim what floating line do you like to use when using this method?

Brilliant video! How long was your leader and how far apart were you flies? Thank you!
Acey nice and simple . 15ft , 3 flies spaced 5ft apart
@@timjoyceflyfishing-essex6769 Perfect, thank you!
Hi Tim, what type of buzzers were you using? Also what size were they?
10s mate ... I very very rarely fish anything smaller in buzzers or nymphs ... they were crisp packets all three .
Do buzzers work this time of year? Ps on small stillwaters
Definitely , especially under the indicator . Bigger black patterns with a hotspot or bright cheeks are deadly , as are red bloodworm buzzer patterns and pink can work very well in clear water ... well worth a go .
@@timjoyceflyfishing-essex6769 thanks mate
We're you using a fab on the point
