The internationally recognized Red Neck sharp test works for me. Thank you.

I should’ve waited for my question until the end of the video. Thanks for retesting sharpness.

I would suggest if you are going to try and scrape with the spine of a folding knife that you fold the knife closed in case there is a lock failure or hand slip. I like the knife. Good looking. Looks like nice action.

Bought a Hawg Holster based on your recommendation. After using it for a couple weeks it's an amazing iwb holster.

I prefer that lock style because it keeps your fingers out of line of the blade

This is a pretty good knife, although my favorite from that series is the Flash. Ferro rod aside, I think the knife is very useful, it has a very strong, trusty lock and it kinda has that cool factor imo. Just the price is what I consider steep, but if you get it at 50 something, it is actually a good deal.

Not a tanto fan, but not a bad looking knife.

I almost pulled the trigger on this one. I wasn't sure about the safety on top. My worry is it sticks out too far and may accidentally engage when in my pocket. I keep knives off safe. Did you have any issue, Bryan?

As usual, I'm late to the party though having both Bryan's color combo Tanto version along with the drop point model, with the drop point AT bein in my regular rotation and in my pocket 3-4 days/week for the past 15-18 months. I don't use the clips as I put lanyards on all of my folders and just reach into my pocket and draw from the lanyard.
Regarding your question, no, you will not have an issue with either the lock on the back or even if it is kept in the "fire" position(red dot showing), as I have carried mine from day 1, and I've never had a single accidental pocket engagement.
Actually, I find the toggle lock on the back worthless, lol. I agree with Brian 💯 on this. Though the AT has a nice snappy opening when deployed with the thumb stud, it takes a conscious concerted effort to deploy the blade, and I'm sure that many would initially describe it as "tight," so there is no friggin way that this blade would EVER accidentally or inadvertently deploy while in one's pocket. At least neither AT has never done so while in my pocket. That said, if you do use the lock, it takes greater effort to compress the lock/unlock switch than it does to deploy the blade🤙
The only other annoying feature of the AT is the lanyard loop. While I love that the AT has one, for my earlier stated reason, it's size and location is what I find ridiculous. It could be smaller and it could be on the very back of the grip.
Many chirp about the AT's asymmetry of the blade to grip length, though having larger hands, and wearing gloves most of the time, the longer grip is superb and the AT is extremely easy to handle with work gloves on. Should the blade then be longer? Sure, 3.5" would be nice, however anything 3"+ allows me to do what I need to do in my daily knife work, and without dragging my response on any further getting into my professional background, I'll just say that my daily knife usage is more demanding, rigorous & laborious than 96-97%+ of those carrying an EDC knife.
I picked both of mine up for $44.95. At that price, it's a superb value. Fair market for the AT is $60-65, while the listed MSRP is ridiculous, haha.
      Stay Well👊

After dealing with SOG's warranty department I'll never buy a SOG knife again.

i hear if you open the lock mechanism when using as a baton it won't mess up the lock mechanism. 🤷‍♂

Yet again, another great design ruined by an assist. Also overpriced for the materials given.
