Thank you. You have helped me immensely. Better channel than the majority of amateur machinery teaching RUclipsrs by a mile. I really can't understand why you don't have zillions more subscribers. Please keep it up, you help others immeasurably. Cheers, Davo from Vic.
I had thought I missed a video when you actually used the rounded cutter and mentioned grinding it in the "other" video, Now I'm all caught up, Thank you.👍
this was a really good vid. i missed out on a Darex some time ago and wish i got it. i have my eye on another used older type with air spindle , but have always heard bad reports about air spindles. your report seems good!!! cheers👍👍
I'd characterise air spindles as a nice thing to have but not essential, particularly with the small quanities most of us deal with. At one stage I was thinking of removing the air bearing part and replacing with something like a Teflon sleeve for a similar effect.
Nice machine I used to have one I used it mainly for router cutters, Stupidly I lent it to someone it and someone never to be seen again, one day hopefully I will find one at a good price.

No probs David.
(As for the subscribers, I think the reason is probably not enough fires, explosions and fantasical projects.)

I altered the release sequence of videos at the last moment - originally this one was first.
Whenever there's jiggery-pokery in a machine shed, I'm in!
It makes it more interesting if I try to push the boundaries a little bit
Thx for the vid.

Pity I have not got the CBN wheel or I could sharpen those too.
