That's pretty awesome I wish you guys the best of luck and I was wondering with you and Kade's permission first if I can give you guys a special shout-out in a video I'm very honored to be a fan of you guys you guys are so incredible at cosplay absolutely amazing I love the princess peach and Bowser and King Boo series absolutely amazing i hope guys stay safe out there and Good luck Ken and Kade
You should check out Delaware! My friend used to live there and she said that it was beautiful and they would get a lot of snow and they had a lot if beaches! I think it is perfect for a couple where one likes hot weather and the other likes cold weather. Dover is stunning with a population of almost 40,000!
Well it's nice... But tourists and a HUGE influx of new people moving have changed it so much. All of the little towns are being industrialized and modernized, the history is being erased. Also it's becoming super over developed plus summer traffic sucks. It's super cute here but it's making me sad to see this little state being taken over 😢
I live in DE, I can't say the same things your friend said since I hate it here and can't wait to move down south where my family is at or in bigger and better cities.
Mystic, Connecticut is a beautiful place to visit! They have some really cool sights, and it can be a pretty historically rich area.Old Mistick village is a nice shopping locale to check out. Also the Mystic Sea Port Museum was incredible because you got to see so many old boats wading in the water. They also have the aquarium which was AMAZING.
I loved living in Northampton, MA - super liberal, super friendly, full of college students from the 5 colleges in the area. There are a ton of farms ran exclusively by hippies, which was new for me coming from GA. Basically paradise in pioneer valley 🥰
@@dinobunnycosplayY’all checked out renting in Amherst or South Hadley yet? I see tons of decent listings for apartments there for reasonable prices. I live in Palmer and prices are kinda high here.
OMGG YOU GUYS WENT TO CT 😭♥️ I live there!!!!! It’s a really beautiful state. Also!!! The dinosaur place is my absolute favorite place in CT, it’s this big park with giant replicas of Dinos and has really fun things to do there!!! The gift shop is amazing and they also sell crystals! I feel like y’all would love it! If y’all need any ct reccomendations I know a lot! Another good Rec is the maratime aquarium, it’s new englands best aquarium! I also suggest going to mystic village, mystic seaport, mystic downtown (with the famous pizza place); basically anywhere in mystic!
If you're ever in East Haven, CT, there is a really good asian super market (Thai owned) with alot of tasty imports, an instant noodle station, a boba place, and some other stuff. Its cute! My aunt also owns a Thai place but i can't really recommend it because they're a bit "old fashioned" and the flavour is a little bland
So excited that y'all are exploring around CT as someone born and raised in CT it's such a charming place! Plenty to do a lot of people will recommend Mystic if you do go there and like Thai food get Jasmine Thai in New London it is amazing. Personally, I will always recommend a visit to Gillette Castle in East Haddam amazing views. Hope y'all are enjoying your time here so far!!
Never been to Connecticut went to Rhode Island once. Glad people are friendly and the dog is cute. Need more love for senior dogs. My puggle is turning 13 next month.
FYI Maryland is somewhere my family regularly goes for fun! It’s close to where I live, a super nice area, and SO many tourist attractions!!! Also the food is ❤❤❤
and bonus: depending on where in MD you are, you can potentially be really close to Otakon, Awesomecon, Katsucon, Anime USA, DC and all its events, etc, as long as you're near a metro station, and the best Renaissance Faire (imo) in the entire country!
I love it whenever I go over to someone’s house or to an Airbnb and they have a dog 😍 I will literally wind up spending my entire time there with the dog ❤
I live in CT and it's an amazing place to live. I have lived in this state for 14 years now and there is so much to do. There is local cosplay events, ren fairs, amazing forests to go hiking in, great food, theme parks, local fairs and many more. Glad you both got the chance to visit my homes state.
Connecticut is honestly great. Lots of good people, good food, and fun things in between. Also, it's just a train ride away from NYC for bigger night life.
Kent falls in Kent, CT. You can't go to in the waterfall anymore, but it's still gorgeous and a good picnic spot last I went. Also Gillette castle state park is beautiful. The castle there was made by the stage actor for Sherlock amd has an amazing hiking trail💗💗
We're such a small state I'm surprised you visited! I've lived around CT (Brief stint in ME) and can say there are things to do, it just depends on your interests. Elizabeth Park is a really pretty place to visit over the summer, I remember sledding here when I was a kid!
Aww nice! I’m from South Carolina, near the beach! I’m really close to Myrtle Beach, it’s kinda charming but kinda chaotic- very touristy but I lowkey enjoy it. You don’t get bored down here for sure lol
I just saw this, but like my little family just moved up to Maine! I can't tell you how many people have told us about the snow!! Like, I know it's gonna be crazy cold and lots of snow, that's what I want! LOL
Not sure if it was mentioned but New Haven CT is amazing. Tons of fun shops and so so so many good restaurants. Honestly all of CT has good restaurants.
I recommend visiting Mystic CT! It was such a cute place when I went, and I definitely recommend the Bleu Squid for breakfast, their pancakes are amazing!
if you guys are looking to stay in CT i HIGHLY recommend Brookfield! it is in the new fairfield county and it’s pretty nice! quiet neighborhoods, and about an hour from new york and hartford! a great place to be
Also you should to Old orchard beach Maine because they have the fair there in the summer and it’s super fun they also have the pier where there’s cute shops too!!
I know it's not the east *coast,* but it's in the eastern time zone... I highly recommend considering Michigan if you're even remotely interested. We're a very progressive state right now with great cities like Grand Rapids, Mt. Pleasant, and Lansing. Grand Rapids usually tops the lists of "best places to be" both in the state and in the entire midwest. I'm from there and love it. It's not a big distance from Chicago. One of the best in terms of abortion rights, LGBTQ+ safety, etc. I really love it here and I think it's worth checking out. AND!! We have fantastic conventions! JAFAX, YoumaCon, AlmaCon... It's just a great place to be and I really adore it here.
If you get a chance an overnight trip to rhode island. I went there for college and its honestly really nice. Narragansett is pretty plus providence has a killer bookstore close to the mall. Its also pretty nice in certain areas. Newport is also really nice. Lots of cute shops and food stores.
That’s really cool! I live on the east coast so it would be so cool if you guys decide to move there! I’m in NJ which isn’t to far from Connecticut so maybe I’d finally get a chance to meet you guys!! :) ❤️❤️
Born and raised in CT...no idea what even to recommend xD it's not super exciting to be honest. Just an aquarium and a small zoo. Some places are really nice to swim if the weather is good. Brownstone is fun if it is open. Otherwise I got nothing :P hope you enjoy your time regardless!
Hey! So I have lived in RI my entire life but I have stayed in CT for a good amount of time as well. I would recommend trying out a town in CT called Guildford. It a cute place and all of the homes are older. One thing I would say abt CT is that the housing market is crazy stupid. If your willing to go a little farther I would recommend coming to RI. RI has some beautiful places. These include Newport and Block Island. One of my friends live in Misquamicut in RI and its really pretty bc it is right near the ocean. Overall I would recommend RI over CT.
Next time you guys are up the Hartford West Hartford way, there’s some really good restaurants in Blue Back Square. If you’re closer to the New Haven area theres some really good spots by the Yale Campus!
Theres no way! I live in CT, its so rare to see content creators come here, I hope you like it! You should definitely try out one of our aquariums or museums!
Meriden, Hubbard Park, its very pretty and there also a place at the park called Castle Craig you can hike to. (Be careful tho it can be dangerous to hike up there)
I’ve lived in New England, specifically New Hampshire all my life! But to be fair, despite NH being gorgeous, I wouldn’t recommend moving there (at least, maybe not rural areas) because I’ve come across many homophobes, racists, and sexists. I hope you find a city/state that feels right to you!!
If your in downtown Hartford, you gotta check out Sunberry (if you don't mind Korean BBQ) or Pietro's pizza!! I take my cousins there during CtCon when they want pizza or Korean BBQ!!
Please check out the Salem area of Massachusetts! It’s a beautiful area full of so much history. Tons of friendly people around there and so many good places to shop and get food.
Pennsylvania is a beautiful state.. And I’m not just saying that because I live here, lol … Even the weather is a nice mix of the southern states and northern states.. Nice summers, a bit humid some days, and the winters aren’t as bad as the northern states… And there’s a good mix of rural areas, cities and a bit of the middle of bfe where there’s more trees than there are people 😂😂😂😂
What, how am I only just finding out y’all were not only in my state but in my county (Hartford is a county for anyone who doesn’t know)?! Connecticut is nice and all but after living here for 21 years, I can say there is really not much to do, besides hiking, some people will probably be like oh what about lake compounce, or some other place but I’ve been to it all, my parents used to take us to lake compounce almost everyday in the summer, every year, from elementary to 10th grade in highschool. The reason we stopped going was because we had all grown up, and grown bored of the same old places.
Please try out Wilmington North Carolina! We have tons of cosplay conventions concerts and just fun events that welcome everyone to cosplay I go as an elf every Sunday at our local flea market near the beach to cause minor havoc!😂 but yeah if you do decide to check it out let me know
Hey yall! Ken grew up on the northern east coast. No need to explain how snow works! 😂 She's done the winters
Wow! The winter must have been horrible 🥲
I live in Canada in Ontario near the lake so I’ve seen extremely cold winters and very nice summers. Hope you find the perfect place to live
Oof! Love you guys! ♥️

Tbh I don’t think Delaware exists.
@@doom_and_tea honestly kind of true lol

I liked Northampton! Bit on the higher end of our budget tho
Hey! I live two towns over 😂 so weird seeing people out in my neck of the woods once.

@@TheWholeEntireCake I'm in north-east kinda central MA. 15 miles from the NH border! Got a semi abandoned railway and old military community

I'm glad you liked it there if you do move you have to show some pics of the area since everything showed on camera right now looks amazing😁
In Danbury they have a Civil Air Patrol squadron. Totally worth looking into and maybe arranging to meet them. Amazing kids doing amazing work
