I am from Sri Lanka and enjoyed this cover from the bottom of my heart...So sentimental and mesmerizing.. I have not heard of Mr. Rajesh before...You do a great justice to the legend Mohammad Rafi's mood, style and weight in this immortal song... The female companion seems an armature with a different tonal color yet she seems doing her best to complement and it is lovely to see how Rajesh guides her throughout.. Live performance of this semi classic is not an easy task and kudos to the band who maintained a perfect tempo and very reactive to the vocalists' variations.. I am really happy to see Indian modern generation taking these legends forward... I dont understand word by word of these Hindi classics but we do 100% get their mood and feeling... Thats the the beauty of music and our common roots in the region..
