My first memory of Sam Heughan was in an episode of Midsomer Murders King's Crystal back in 2007. I've watched him grow and become the man he is today. I'm so thrilled he had the good graces of his mother (I'm a mother too and have a good understanding of what it entails to raise good children that become great adults) Thanks Sam for being a true gentleman and a good son !
I have have following him for year's. He is a very humble man. Very kind to his FANS. Loves his mother & brother very much. Sam is younger than his brother. He also has a beautiful body that he keeps in shape for years now since the beginning of Outlander. Sam has had struggles in his life but he has overcome them most of them. I love Sam so much ❤️
Love this post. I started in 2016 seeing OL for the first time. I thought he was marvelous! Little did I know how many movies and series he had been in already! I acted for 10 years and was passionate about it. That was what I wanted to be "when I grew up"...even wrote my speech of what I would say at the Oscar's 🤣! Unfortunately, I had listened to my terrible drama teacher later in life telling me I wasn't good enough, took it personal and gave up thinking I would never make it because of how difficult it was for that "break". I find Sam SUCH an inspiration telling his story of hardship to success in his life. Brings back so many memories. I have SO much respect for him. His perseverance aka "stubbornness" (I too am stubborn as hell, lol) through his endeavors to where he is now is so honorable. So proud of him and proud to be a Heughligan! Well deserved, Sam! Here's to you, Sam, for impacting and changing the world for the better ❤❤🌏❤❤ Your just getting started!! Thank you for being you and what you do 🥰 XO Amy from Dallas 😊
The bit from his book about hitting a low point on Sunset Blvd had me in tears. I’m so glad you got your big break, Sam. Hard work and patience do pay off💖
I found Sam’s memoirs deeply moving, he shared many intimate moments with his fans, I admired his candour so much so that I finished listening to the last chapter of his ‘Waypoints’ journey for the second time last night, his relationship with the legions of mushrooms 🍄 throughout had me smiling constantly, although Sam has said he is happy in his own company I believe he was secretly grateful for the company of a gentleman traveler named Graham and a charming young lady he met towards the end of his journey, just fancy Lucy had never heard of Sam Heughan let alone Jamie Fraser! thank you 🙏 for sharing this chat with the endearing Sam Heughan 🥰
I feel that it's better, that they get it out there and their point of view. From their living perspective of it. Before social media gets it and makes lies. Also they didn't have to do that so I'm always thankful.
Can you just imagine, hiking…walking along and there’s Sam taking a selfie with a mushroom?! Oh, to be that lucky. He seems so down to earth and I don’t think any of it has gone to his head. He would be a terrific James Bond. He’s the perfect Jamie, for sure! ❤
The part that touched my heart the most in the book was around end of Day 2...when he comes across someone in a bridge tunnel -- & then decides to help🥰💝 And then resolves to help a lot more afterwards THANK YOU SAM!! 💗💗💗 Hopefully all who receive these acts of kindness appreciate them! 🏕️🌉🌄
The copy I read was our county's library copy! 📘 I was 1st on their wait-list to read it! Marion County, FL Library HQ. They may need Sam to sign it 🖋️
This was wonderful! Andrew Cotter did a lovely job facilitating the conversation and Sam was, well Sam, an incredible human being. Charming, funny, self-effacing, guileless. He really is the King of Men.
BTW I can't help but wonder if his many trips to NYC have to do with his girlfriend. If he's planning on moving there it may be serious. Perhaps we'll be hearing an engagement announcement after Outlander ends or even sooner. I want him to have a happy home life. He deserves to be loved and to have someone wonderful to love in his private life.
What a great conversation - Sam is so charismatic and expressive; he couldn't speak without his hands. The audio version of his book, with Sam reading it, is so poignant in places, particularly the sound bites - should've been more by the way. Thank you Andrew Cotter, I love listening to their 'burrs'!!! 💕
Hi outlander fans ,first read waypoints on vacation in a hotel room ,last year ,best place to read outlànder or a clanlands ,book ,hope to read the new clanlands book on my next vacation soon ,looking fiward to more outlander in 2024 ,
Sam Heughan is a great actor and entertainer and entrepreneur... But mostly importantly he's an amazing human being. If more people were like him, this world would've been a better place. Thank you for sharing bits and pieces of your life with us, Sam
Thank you, Sam for sharing this beautiful camping and hiking experience. I felt as though I was there with you. Hate to camp in the rain but... Scotland is like that. Good thing you had some bourbon to warm yourself. If you drink plenty of water it prevents the hangover.
This was so extremely wonderful ..thank you for sharing such an intimate part of your life with us . I am a children's author and this really hit home for me " to be in the moment" When I become lost in my writing it is the best feeling...the same way as when I was a teacher . I taught second grade and sometimes when we were studying authors or literature or the beginning of history or learning other languages or science or social studies ...even math ...the magic was when we were all in our magic world learning from each other . I thank you so much . Many times I try to take control ....I need to let go ...and just enjoy the magic. I guess that is how life is as well ...Thank you so much more than you will ever know for this interview @Fane Productions @ SamHueghan "Be in the moment" xoxox
I completely get it. When I read old books, the way they would speak in the book, the way they would describe things with certain words. It really makes you embrace it and make it a part of your day-to-day life and wanted to incorporate it into your natural environment rather it be in acting, writing, or talking to somebody.
I can’t believe that Lucy and Andrew did not see San in Outlander!!!!! I loved the question about how Sam as Jamie Fraser dismounts his horses. I also have noticed it’s very distinctive. Also, the way takes off his shirts, very distinctive. But he didn’t get to answer because Andrew hadn’t even noticed because he didn’t see the show. I think both Lucy and Andrew would be actually mind blown if they were to see who they were actually talking to what a brilliant actor he is, how charismatic, witty and generous!! And it feels like kind of insult. It’s like saying I’m interviewing Judy Garland and I haven’t heard her singing yet.
You wouldn't if you could see his natal chart in astrology. His Sun (Taurus) and Moon (Scorpio) are in completely opposite signs, but both are rather possessive signs. He also has Venus in Gemini, a good friend, funny and intelligent, but not a good placement for monogamy. He gets bored easily with this Venus placement, but his Saturn in Virgo likes routine, a total contradiction. Lastly, with a water sign in his moon, he needs to be very careful with escapist tendencies, especially alcoholism or drug use. I feel so badly for him as these are some challenging obstacles for a person to deal with. That aside, he presents as a playful imp who has the temerity to succeed where he does apply himself (Moon in Scorpio, Saturn in Virgo, Jupiter in Virgo, and Mars in Leo). I wish him good health and continued success.
Long and funny communication with Sam Heughan. I enjoyed his explanations and views on hiking, friendship, filming, Shakespeare and life. Thanks to the man (Cotter) who presented him with humour and questions.
YOU HAVE to hike down the Grand Canyon and stay for a few days down there...and Havasupai Falls there's so many magical places there....Antelope Canyon ....too if you want to get to know yourself ..wow ...you will there for sure ....and Sedona...there is just that magical energy ...I promise you
♥️🖤💙Thank you 😊I really enjoyed listening to Mr,Heughan so normal down to earth 🌍 very funny 🤣🤣🤣🫶🏻 Forgive me I’ve never seen outlander myself Absolutely Stunning Man♥️🖤💙🫶🏻
I just had to add to my comment below - I forgot to mention his Romeo - it was wonderful, and it doesn't matter that he fucked up the end a little - hand/glove, not glove/hand, look it up!! A very different Romeo to others I have seen - an enthusiastic young lover. 🌙☀🍄🦘
So, can relate to your experience. Everyone in LA should of honor 🎖 you for riding bus as you doing more for the environment than and dead beat car 🚗 person in LA. Either way, you did it beyond beyond all true 👍 expectations. Go Whiskey Sam Go❤️👍🥰
Ben Nevis is deceptively peaceful looking but has beaten many hikers, including me. Many Scots settled in mountainous regions of America. North Carolina is one and another is New York. My ancestor, James Frazier, had descendants settling in Ticonderoga.
Que bueno que sam haga esto. Está bien económicamente después de todo lo que ha trabajado. Pienso que esto hace tiempo que lo quería hacer y por fin puede.
I subscribed to Fane and tried to stream it live but it was too quiet. Even with the volume turned up full. I love Sam’s interviews but I couldn’t hear much of it. I was so disappointed. I wrote to Fane but they didn’t bother to reply.
The story of Richard Madden was a little disheartening. I loved him as Robb Stark on GOT, he's absolutely gorgeous and was great, however he didnt have to treat Sam like that after he blew up. The people you shyt on, on your way to the top are the same people you will pass when you fall. He only did three seasons on GOT, Sam Heughan is on his eigth season of Outlander and making producer money now.
The fact that it was done in his voice and he was the one that narrated the whole thing. I think that's absolutely awesome.
My first memory of Sam Heughan was in an episode of Midsomer Murders King's Crystal back in 2007. I've watched him grow and become the man he is today. Who wouldn’t want to be this lovely sweet man’s soul mate and forever love He is PERFECT .
probably the best interview ever done with Sam.

What an amazing actor! Amazing how he remembered all that from Romeo and Juliet, would love to see him perform in a theatre show x
His struggle makes the reader feel as though we are there suffering with Sam! ❤

Great interview! Sam is so funny. Talented actor and great guy. I enjoyed learning of his life and his personality.

Good morning Mr sam you are so wonderful to us God bless you my love to you .great acting .
Such a GREAT interview! I LOVED every minute of it!
My first memory of him was the only Hallmark movie he ever did. His voice was not as sexy as it is now, but still so lovely to hear.
Wow! Gorgeous! Great interview thank you for sharing! I Love Waypoints! 👏👏👏🙌😍💙🏴
Love him! 🤩💖🥰 so honest and unpretentious 🤩💖🥰
This was so much fun to watch.

You're my hero Sam. ⛰🌞🌧⛺❤🏴
I think Sam, Andrew, Olive and Mabel should go hiking together, and make a documentary about it. 😊❤️
The ambients sounds...Sam is winded..I am cold, wet, tired and hungry just listening to this.
What a human, sure would of loved to have been his soul mate
