First time Jefferson ever scored I remember yelling "WTF are you doing?? Get your ass in the endzone!", but now the griddy has become a Vikings WR tradition overnight! :D
@@elijahpipkin4081 haha I know the griddy, it actually wasn’t made by Jefferson but his old friend in high school. His homie would do the dance and he ended up doing it to but adding stuff slightly different and making it his own of sorts
Justin Jefferson is officially the same person as JuJu. Both are extremely likeable receivers with incredible route running and dance moves. Edit: Yes I understand that this is no longer the case anymore with Jujus antica of dancing on logos and just being annoying, so the "likeable" part doesn't apply to JuJu anymore lmao
Lol I remember the Vikings started doing those unique team celebrations in like 2017 also, when they had Case Keenum, and it seemed like the whole league started following suit. Seems like the Vikings always recruit some cool personalities and top players, but are always missing something to be a powerhouse.
Lol you cappin. Jefferson does it the normal way. Most people put their own twist to it. Which is what your supposed to do. Jaguars players did it best.
Just dope asf from High School-College-Pros when a WR scores a TD they all do this dance.. it's awesome.. Coastal Carolinas Griddy Dance when scoring the Game winning TD was the best
Allen Davis created it, while back ago in 2017 and his friends used to call him by the nick name Lil Gritty, so that’s why the dance it’s was called like that as well !!!
No, that’s not awesome. On a football field after a TD, it’s a celly for the play. On a basketball court, at least in my opinion it’s just bad sportsmanship. To each his own I guess but that’s disrespectful to the opposition. I’m not a hater. It’s good to celebrate with your teammates after a good play or sweet bucket. Even a hard dunk. To start dancing on a B-ball court is just bad showmanship. After a great shot, you hit a 3 from deep behind the arc, You get back on D. The pros don’t start dancing after a play like that. I guess if a timeout is called and you wanna celebrate with your teammates, so be it. I still don’t agree with it. Back in the 80’s, 90’s, and even early 2000’s, no one did stuff like that. It would be seen as showing up on the opposition. That to me is what is wrong with sports today. Again, none of what I said is a fact. It’s only 1 mans opinion but wether I’m the only person that feels that way, I’m not sure. Again, I’m not a hater. Just feel that to do that during a game is disruptive and disrespectful to the other team. Disclaimer: I’m sure it’s not meant that way and players from both teams often do stuff like that during the course of the game but I feel it should stop. At least during game play.
look bro this what i just commented: "i hope yall understand that justin, obj, dj chark, and russell gage all went to lsu and were all born and raised in LA. hahh happy to say i am too😂we got the most rhythm ong "
You should do, "plays that weren't original but got more credit than the original," like the "Philly special" was actually copied from the Lions in week 17 of that same season.
If you guys like this dance I made an edit to it (with music) on my instagram @ding_prod, go check it out!!! we lit

ruclips.net/video/sW2oiprx-IA/видео.html
he had like a movie scene set up, defenders take them selves out so he has time to just dance into the end zone
Deebo was aight too
Jefferson literally made the whole NFL a whole mood now after the dance and now everyone one is doing it after they score
Him Jamarr and his teammates been doing it since lsu
He didnt make it
Justin Jefferson made this dance popular just saying LSU
