I don't think so. They were together for a couple years. They lived peacefully and bred nonstop. Then one day...he just started attacking her for no reason. I'm hoping once the other females mature, I can put them with the male and he will be distracted by multiple girls and not focus on attacking. Idk what is going to happen. I'm also thinking about rearranging the entire cage to throw him off. I have time to think about it, what the best way would be to introduce them. Hopefully it will work out.
Hydration is the biggest thing. Make sure they are drinking water everyday. Mist the cage often because they like high humidity. They like to climb up everything so have lots of climbing branches and vines, if you can put stuff on the walls to climb, they will like that too. They don't like high heat. Use UVB 5.0 and a basking light with a low wattage. They love crickets, superworms and hornworms. Give them as much space as you can, I use 4 feet screen cages.
His aggression could be from mistaking her for a male due to her elaborate pattern.

Are the two adults wild caught or captive bred?
They are wild caught
Any first time owner advice? I'm about to buy a pair myself 😃

Well did she forget to dvr the game? Domestic violence isn’t always one sided.
