That's what happened, and it will never be close to the same. I don't know of any Miami Dolphins from any era that have had concussion issues, and they were my team. It was a physical sport. No one forced these guys to play. Playing football when it was still a contact sport wouldn't even crack the top 1000 most dangerous jobs, and most of those jobs are high risk, low reward.
