      The guy sent me a fake website and i knew it was a scam.
      Probably from nigeria...most of the scams are done there.
      These scammers are everywhere now.

    total with mortgage, insurance and HOA fees is about $3,500 per month and that's before all your household bills and personal bills, can't see anybody making 80k after taxes can afford that

    Warning: the numbers he spoke of for that property were not accurate for any graduating student in the nation. I've seen 3-5 newly graduated kids sleep in those 900 Sq ft apartment downtown with no parking. Most people in the city are moving into Maryland and Virginia due to the ultra high rent prices. Spend 600-700k on 900 Sq. Ft. Or that much for a 3500-5000 Sq. Ft. house in the MV. You be the judge. Guaranteed that these condo will turn into apartments quickly. Not hating, just stating the facts.

    650k for a 1bedroom 900 ft.² anything is crazy. Especially for a 20 year old. Very attractive unit but too costly in my opinion. However I see the aim.

    Damn, 650k for a one bedroom condo with 900 sq. ft. of living space! That's too much! It may be the norm now for the DMV, but it's too high for a one bedroom even if it is a condo and regardless of its locale or the district that it's in. The DMV is trying to charge NYC real estate prices.

      These units are for the upper class not 20 year old works. They pricing everyone out. There will be a lot of foreign and business buyers. You can get a 650 house/townhouse in the DMV.

      DMV always seemed to be high cost of living. This particular area is in DC so you next to the white house and all that. But in general yeah, that's pretty bad. You'd need $130K just to step inside and young professionals don't all come from the same walks of life. So this for the young professional that can actually afford to live with their parents (if their parents don't live in awful conditions themselves) for a while to save up by that case, might as well buy a single family unit. But preferences are different for everyone.

      What's the common or hoa fee about thousand
      How many apts 200 or 300
      Folks got other buildings in a ten mile radius to choose from if they want to live in area
      And some are cheaper and probably good enough
      Some may go outside to about 20 miles out for halve the price because many can work flex at home
      No need to live in expense area

    Your mortgage payments is going to be 3K+ that’s with putting down a 20% down payment which most people won’t be able to do with their first time homebuyers. I’m a mortgage lender so I know. If it’s a married couple and both are making 100K a piece, that makes more sense

    675k is too much for a one bed and college grads are not making a $100 k out of college in DC ...dont forget the student debt students have to pay i am not sure how they would qualify for a mortgae and also save enough money for a down payment. This should be priced in the low for 400 or high 300's

      It doesn’t matter, the loss deductions offset their tax obligations. They can make the price $1M, never fill it and just write off the losses. I think it’ll end up being for single people or couples

    650k for 800 or so Sq Ft? Safely, someone would have to make over 150k to purchase this. The percentage of college grads in DC making this type of money w/a Bachelors is VERY LOW. This doesn’t appeal to college grads. This is definitely someone who has been in their career for at LEAST 3-5 years. I LOVE the power move here, but dude is SUPER optimistic with his graduate projections.

      Màybe a doctor can afford it in five yrs
      Very few people can afford that apt at any age
      Very few make over 100k
      That building is going to have problems getting occupied
      More so if they got 2 and 3 bedroom those are probably close to a million

    The key is going to be how great the community access is within the building. Swimming Pool? Weight Room/Cardio Room? Sauna/Steam Room? Bar 🍺 and Restaurant or Food Kiosk ? Business Office ? All things I've mentioned should be a part of the Community Spec because it's basically standard now in nice high-end Condo Towers. I wish y'all all the success in the 🌎 🤳🏿👨🏾‍💻

    That apt isn't all that and what's the maintenance. Most professional can work at home so they can buy at location 20 miles out that is cheaper be ause they can work at home no need to be close to job or in an expense area
    May get outer country and rich older folks buying and they prefer three bedrooms
